bit of a pic request here, looking at getting a silencer for my g36c after a slight mishap with my current one and have considered the scar one with the funny flash hider that allows you to screw the silencer on to it, i was wondering if anyone had one or anything similar and could post pics of it on their 36? if not or theres any better suggestions for silencers for the 36c can you let me know? also any suggestions for a nice looking rds on a 36c would be cool

you're in luck, i took these yesterday.
The silencer I'm using is This One.
The flash hider does look a little funny but its okay.
And the point of taking the pics yesterday; to show off my barbie doll.

I would put most of your problems down to temperature.
Right now at about 5 degrees C the timer takes ages and has little power (hfc)
But if i fill it up and sit it next to the heater to warm it for a few minutes it works just fine.
So perhaps we can conclude that this is (like GBB pistols) a non-winter airsoft weapon?
I wonder if you use propane the grenade made for hfc gas in the winter if it works as it should. I cant get propane here in japan but someone should try.

the full length barrel kit arrived yesterday - wee...
all i need now is a c mag and then one day the dual optic carry handle and my g36 project will be complete. (i already have the single optic carry handle)

sigh.. i just missed out on buying a second hand ksc tmp for 80 bucks the other day, a guy bought it about 1/2hr before i went in to the shop. so gutted.
oh, and Fishsquatch, how do you find carrying around the skorpion? I have a friend who was considering one as a back up for when its too cold for pistols.

banned in japan? when did that happen? and where can i find more info on it? (a quick google didnt help me)
also, do you know why? i thought they would only ban it if someone could modify it to fire a live round

well the end of the K barrel has a much longer section of thread and the flash hiders thread doesnt start till a ways up the tube. the opening has this metal ring thing that blocks the flash hider from going over the end of the barrel. To fit it on you will have to take out the silver bit.

Personally i prefer the k length grip more than the c but yeah you are right, the k flashhider does look good on the end of the c

Just took a quick one with my cell but you get the idea...
the k hider is actually kind of annoying to fit on to the c barrel, in this pic ive just rested it on there, not screwed it on. It would be possible i think but yeah, kind of annoying.

got some new bits today
the scope is marui made and is fantastic; it has a great viewing area, is 3-9zoom and the front is adjustable for different distances.
on the way is the full length with bipod, a silencer and also the carry handle.
it shall be my airsoft lego set.

meh...i have a set of winter camo (lolz for a place that will NEVER EVER snow) ...

Am I the only person thinking this is RS? In which case, who makes that front end for it?
I think it looks like a CAD drawing, based off the RS one hence the correct bits.

cool, yeah thanks for the heads up, the shop I'm going to order from has those in stock, and my pin is getting a little loose too.
ill make the order tomorrow, will post pics up next week.
Also, I like the look of the K front with the sl9 rail.
In the mean time here is my current g36c

Nah, theyre in a shadow but have been lit up by a spotlight. So, to get that effect you just have to have a good camera focused very well on the subject and (im guessing this is what was used) one of those professional flashes that uses an umbrella type thing to reflect it, whatever they are called.
