  1. Para Ordnance P13.45 (or as Western Arms calls it P14.45CC). I have a special love for Commander-size pistols, so when I learned about it, I had to have it. It now features taller sights that I can see.

The king of my collection. Western Arms Colt Series 80 Collectors Edition. The bluing on this pistol resembles the Royal Blue color that Colt's custom shop does on some of their models. The most beautiful pistol in my collection.

Colt Series 80 lightly customized. Based on Western Arms Colt Series 80 CQB, minus the rear sight.

Another Colt Delta Elite I build from spare parts I had left, from various projects.

Browning Hi-Power by Tanaka. Another pistol I always wanted to have as a real gun, but ended up having it only as an airsoft. Customized from a Tanaka Heavy Weight MK-III Hi-Power with a round hammer and real Alumagrips.

KSC CZ-75. I had to trim its hammer, it was pinching my hand every time I fired it. Thanks to all the guys in this board who jumped in to help me out on this.

Finally, a Colt Python 3" by Tanaka, I am still awaiting for the Pachmayr grips for it.

    I hope you enjoy.

You remind me of me. I had a collection very similar to yours. Love that elite....

As for the tanaka revolvers, have to disagree. If you unscrew the grips and tighten the hammer spring screw you can turn these babies in to hand held cannons achieving 400-450 fps, oh yes... :D:D Feel the force. with bedding in of the hop rubbers they can be deadly... It all in the wrist action...

  2. one stick battery lasts me all day, even for nonstop ops starting at 530 and ending at 4-5. Maybe I'm special, or maybe it's because I charge till the very last minute before I leave. I dunno.

ybe you are skilled firecontrol, not trigger happy like me :D

  3. it's a red dot sight, STAR make them.

look on websites such as WGC.

    I think they're about £40.

you cant just buy them seperately.

shop around, there are other carry-handles with rails above the optics too, for attatching other sights.

    cheers

    Thanks buddy..

  4. Ok a real noobey question, only coz I have ventured into the realms of G36s as I am an M4 fan.

I have just procured a CA G36k and notice that some are fitted with a device above the scope, which I assume is a lazer pointer or an aiming device of some sort?

What is it and where can I get one and will I have to buy an adaptor to attach it to the scope/carrying handle??

  5. Finally secured that permission.

The dessie camo issued to norwegian naval forces on the left, regular army and airforce on the right...personally I'm in love with the colors and pattern of the naval version...

    Yuk!!! :(

  6. Ebay is your best bet for a helmet. There's a couple on there now.

Likewise ebay is also good for Camelbaks:

    Grim

Grim mate, very cool loadout. Were did you get the camelbak. I have been after once of these.

  8. Sorry guys... this isn't a posing or during the game... it was after the game, in the party.

From my team, nobody moved a muscle to help me!

    STUNTMAN

Stuntman, always look forward to seeing your pictures, especially your strippy shirt onsombals... :P

But this tops them off. Very worried about airsoft in sunny Med..:unsure::)

  9. Thanks. I'm not 100% happy with the heavier loadout, as the pouches tick me off and its incomplete and i should of just left it as my bandana or bush hat for the lighter set up. Also i never put my comms on for the pic.

Kie deserves the credit for the mods all i did was unpick replace and re stistch the knee pads with thicker foam. and the elbow pads cant really be seen in the pics. Whats this "Velcro hat"? And with Kie deserveing the credit i think he deserves it more than i do.

I will also soon put up pics of my revamped desert set up. i have stripper the osprey and i am using the new PLCE vest over it, and i have won a pair of those warrior desert DPM trousers on ebay so when they arrive the new look will be put up on here.

    Grim

Velco tape, ooopppppssss!!! For arm pockets.

  10. Well i finally installed the thicker padding on the knee pads that kie built in to my 95trousers, but unfortunatly i was stuck with my dad as photographer as my sister went back to uni. So im sorry for a poor quiality and bad angles of the photos. but heres my current DPM set up. Note it is incomplete and all i have are crappy webtex pouches mounted on my pointman vest, i am currently saving up for a pointman pouch set, also need to sow in loops to attach my dump pouch and pistol holster to it as well. but so far heres what i have and what im gonna use, until i get said pouches.

Lightweight set up. consosting of RAID modified 95shirt and 95trouser with built in knee pads, CBA with 2 spare magazines and 40mm bandolier.

a closer look and better view of the arm pocket and knee pads.

RAID modified 95Jacket with armpockets and built-in elbow padding. Also sporting my Pointman vest

Better shot of the vest (no pouches on the back as of yet.

And finally a full view (Getting my dad to actually take this was more hassle than it was worth and i have no idea why):headbutt::ranting2:

Better View of the pockets and kneepads

I will update as i can (With out my dad taking the pics) And a thanks to Kie for the mods to my kit!

    Grim

    Grim mate,

nice loadout. My mk6 make me look like chicken little..

Like the mods, good idea, sizing of pockets a bit of an issue. I used to mod US BDUs RAID style. I have OD velco hat you can have if you send you addy in a PM.

  11. i didnt mean to have a go at anyone, it just annoys me when people go on about how they "know people" who "might be offended" because someone "wears (insert item) and havent earned it". Its meant to be about having fun and styling yourself after units that you have respect for and think look good, not constantly worrying that you might ###### off a para. So sorry....

and yeah zog, seriously man it was a cool pic, I actually thought you were army until the whole beret incident, lol, you fit the part well. rather than getting rid, get more up fella!

Thanks matey... Appreciate the feedback from everyone.

I will do some of my Woodland DPM loadout.

When I first started airsofting in 2000 I so wanted an SA80 aeg, but apart from the acadamy springer you couldn't do a decent Brit Loadout/impression.

I like so many airsofter went the USMC/FR/USSF/SEAL Team 8 loadout, which is great and all respect to our US members and USA, but DPM seams to always be associated to newbies and white trainers.

With the Army r85 giving an affordable, reliable option, I now don only DPM and proud too. My mates have had a giggle seemingy back in DPM, buit proud to wear it.:D

  12. Hey guys, my good friend Kie has been kind enought to mod some of my kit, in built knee and elbow pads on the jacket and trousers and arm pockets on the jackets nad shirt. I should be getting them back with in a day or 2 so i will post up my temp DPM load out. (Until i order my pointman pouches.)

Zog. Where did you get the trousers and gloves from and how much?

    Grim

Trouser from the-outdoors.co.uk, they were only £10 - bargain. And gloves, I got of a chap off ASCUK forum - mindz i. I'll PM him to get a heads up.

  13. Just for the record, I wasn't upset at all by the pictures, I just wanted to warn about what some soldiers think of wearing cap badges..

And were they the standard issue desert gloves in your pic?

No, they are Mechanix M-Pact Gloves in CB. Not issue.

Did not take offence either, could have kicked myself about the beret as I am a detail man.

  14. Zog, put ut pic back up dude, it was a nice load out. The beret thing is always tricky, but maybe wear a bush hat or a helmet. it wouldnt take away from the load out. And wouldnt ruffle anyones feathers. I personally have no beef with the beret thing. Hell i wear a Duke of Lancasters beret. (Even though i have transfered to artillery now) I will soon have my old kings beret on my noggin in respect of them as that is who the Dukes were when i 1st joined the TA. But still your load out rocked. Were those the windproof desert DPM trousers you were rocking?

    Grim

    Cheers Grim,

I will take a new set of pics and put up again. Like it I say, I was bound to upset someone. We have the best trained Army in the World and I feel proud to wear my loadout.

I beleive these maybe windproof combats. They have velcro festneing all the way up the side of each leg to about 2 inches below the knee.

  15. The cap badge is not the worry (you can be a royal marine cadet and get the cap badge) its the Commando Green beret (which he isn't wearing) which is what has to be earnt by doing the Commando Course. I'm sure its a case of certain people give a *beep* and other people couldn't careless and have far more important things to worry about.

    Nice loadout all the same.

    Right guys,

The badge is Rifle reg not Marines. The Beret is not Marine Beret it is Rifles/green jackets.

I have removed the picture not to offend anyone and worn out of respect of any infintry reg, not as disrespect of those who earned the right too... It is a tricky topic when airsoft and reenacting cross paths.

Those of us who are geardos and try the hardest to complete loadouts that match those who serve our countries so gallently walk a fine line of possibly offending someone. My father served in the RAF for 30 years, does that give me a right to feel somewhat proud of wearing a uniform that reminds me of being British?
