  1. You again! Jeez Squad, “Where do you get these wonderful toy’s”.

Plenty more photos to post if I can escape from Photobucket onto something more reliable... :)

Awesome.. but that P228 is really something else!

    Wolf

Thanks George - but the PAC West German P226 is the new Daddy ;)

  2. As always 701 that is gorgeous.

Thanks Al, your kind thoughts are appreciated as always ;)

I hadn't planned on getting the Wilson Combat Beretta, but when I heard only 100 were being made and more than likely not due for rerelease due to licensing issues etc - I went for it, glad I did in the end.....

I've both Wilson grips, the brown version are supplied with the kit....

I can switch the OD grips to brown when I get bored.

The much delayed Nova Beretta Centurian kit was released this week, I didn't realise how popular this kit was.

So I decided to get one to finish off my Beretta collection, as it's the only size variation I haven't got.

  3. Colt 1911 WW1 (Marui/Prime)

PS - if anyone can recommend a photo sharing website better than Photobucket, as its causing havoc with my PC and stops me from uploading.......

  4. Hey Mike 735,

The nozzle Spring needs a G18/P226 Spring-pin attached to it to extend the length....

Unless you can find a longer spring or improvise to make the stock Spring longer..

No idea why this wasn't included or mentioned with the kit :(

    Cheers.

  5. I know this is the wrong place to ask this but I have 6 tokyo marui M&P guns in different forms of customs. I was really thinking of getting a SAI Nova Slide and a WE M&Pc and making the SAI compact M&P. Has anyone had any dealings with the WE M&P compacts? I had one of the early model "Big Birds" and it just flat out failed and didn't ever work properly. Are there any of the same issues with the compact? Maybe the newer generations don't have the same issues? Any experience would be great.

    Hi there,

The issues with the WE M&Ps has been resolved for a couple of years now,

it initially took them quite some time to sort that one out - very disappointing at the time though !

The latest batch have improved hammer/Sears etc...

You should still be able to pick up a Nova or Detonator SAI M&Pc kit.

The Detonator has a nicer finish if you want to splash the cash ;)

Beware of getting the HK3P (WE trademarked) version of the M&Pc just in case you come across some old stock,

the WE trademarked frame for the M&Pc is still available under the Nebula brand.

    Cheers.

  6. Yes!! Performance Centre from Nova! :)

I know.. I heard somewhere that guarder need a minimum order of 1000 or something like that frames so maybe they don't see it as a viable option right now..

The Upcoming HK release for the MP Perf.Cte. metal-kits should be late January - so plenty of time to save.....

No sign of a Guarder M&P frame on the horizon, as they'd need a minimum of 4000-5000 to commence.

So it could be mid-late 2016 unless some other company take it on board which is unlikely.

Pity, as those Marui frames are really beginning to shine up from use ;)

  7. Are there any after-market slides that come close to this r.s. version?

    maxresdefault.jpg

    Hi Mimesis,

The Performance Centre M&P metal-kit will be available very shortly from Nova for Marui in standard and long-version, both with RMR cuts..

Further details for Ireland/UK customers, please PM me.

    Cheers.

  8. Sorry Big Al, it isn't going to happen anytime soon, they agreed to wait until Marui eventually release a compact size 1911, as they don't want to supply the compact magazines with kits due to price restrictions.

Literally any Officer/Ultra can be CNC'd tomorrow, but they'd rather your donor gun supply all the necessary parts and magazine :(

Nova Springfield Operator and Champion Operator are now available, but limited.

Next up is the Nova Colt 1911 WW1 [Prime-Blue] complete with full set of steel control parts, similar to previous Prime/WA version, but for Marui. (Mid-September)

Then shortly after that the Nova Colt Gold Cup [Polished-Sides] should be available.

Christmas will offer a surprise Commander-size 1911, again it will be a first for Nova for Marui ;)

Any other 1911s will be after 2015, expect the usual contenders Kimber, etc.....

    Cheers.

  9. Thanks. I was too lazy to break out the DSLR so all those pics including the first three were shot on my iPhone.

Despite the lack of quality compared to the Detonator Slides, I really wish Nova would come out with a 9L.

I'm very much the same, using my iPhone instead of SLR and getting better than average results ;)

But every now and again, out comes the Canon :)

    Your photos are Super.

  10. Al, Get in touch with Squad 701 mate :   ).

    Hey Al,

I've a small supply of each, the release is very limited as only 200 were made (100 of each type) in total.

Half have already gone for Japanese distribution, so whatever remains will mainly be online sales only, most HK shops won't be stocking these over the counter.

So these should be sold out within a couple of weeks.

    Cheers.

  11. They are lovely Squad! Very very nice! I might be interested in that Champion Operator when it arrives!

    Thanks Delta,

Lots of interest in the Springfield Champion Operator, and especially with the inclusion of the stainless-steel barrel and chamber.

The previous Commander/Pro-size barrels supplied by Nova in aluminium were very poor to say the least ;)

Release is provisionally Aug/Sep for Springfield's and Gold Cup.

  12. Two of Nova's 2015 range of Colt 1911 kits for Marui.

    SAI 1911 5" and SAI 1911 Commander.

The finish on the 5" model is Armour Black Cerakote, Courtesy of Suzutomo Co. Ltd. Japan.

All 2015 Nova 1911s feature steel-barrel and chamber, and the new full-rail system - so no need to use the inner frame from the Marui donor gun anymore.

Other kits due within the next couple of months are SFA MC Operator & Champion Operator, followed by the first release for Marui of the Colt Gold Cup.

First up though will be the Prime-Blue Colt 1911 WWI Model which features a complete set of steel parts as previously seen on the Prime/WA kit.

  13. Time for this one to go back in its box, so one more last look ;)

    image1b_zpsoirpwyg1.jpg

I'm so tempted to put this silver barrel-chamber on, out of curiosity just to see how it looks, but sadly I can't as its taken :(

  14. I actually was very tempted by the Commander sized SAI kit....at the time though I did not have a budget for it...now I might...

I might be able to help you out there,  Just PM me ;)

  15. Any word on the Officers Model Kits?

No news whatsoever, I think Prime won't commit themselves to Officer-Size kits until Marui release a gun that contains the smaller magazine :(

They've no interest in supplying magazines with there kits, as it brings the price into a higher category.

Detonator have released 1911 kits in the past with smaller magazine supplied and may do so again, but at a premium price :(
