Just finished making a drummag for my ump.
It takes 950 rounds and is hand winded. Feeds perfectly on my 36 rps set-up.
Made from ump highcap, cyma m14 highcap feed unit, plastic bowl and the backside is covered with 1,5mm thick aluminium plate. Everything glued together with super epoxy and painted matt black.

A little bit different kind of battle worn : D My reddot got a hit from Tm ak47 from 3 meters. Luckily it has a built in glass made protective lens which shattered and nothing happened to the main lens. So it still works just fine and I kind like how it looks now.
It has been like that for 6 months and I have gotten so used to it that I rarely even notice it when aiming.

I already posted this in h&k thread, but anyways heres improved version of my home made grenade launcher. I basicly just smoothend the body of it and I also changed a g3 trigger guard to it. Also I shortened the outer barrel a bit.

My DE ump with hand made grenade launcher and outer barrel. It also has BSI red dot sight.
Most of the gearbox parts have been replaced with better quality, and it shoots around 330-350 fps.
Also this gun has a 285mm 6.04mm inner barrel and TM hopup bucking and nub.
With my intellect 1600mAh 8.4V battery rate of fire is around 650rpm so its quite realistic.

Paint job looks kinda too bright but everything else is fine.

Jsres, dont use TM gearbox shell in your "cqb rifle". I had m90 spring in my reinforce filed and sanded shell and it broke to pieces. Tappet plate also failed at the same. Buy deep fire one, I have one of those. Its probably strongest diecast gearbox in the markets now. I can tolerate up to m190. :]

Trust me, its not. Outer barrel was made from cardboard. And angle of the picture also affects how it looks.

I actually have dropped one player with 1.0. I havent used 2.0 or 2.1 in a game yet. No gas and its too coldWow, its the one which was on Softaaja magazine! Its pretty ugly, but long as it works and is useful, it goes

Ok, here is the version 1.0. I later modified it to 1.1, It was just basicly remake of the whole thing and it looked nicer. Cant find any pics from that. That launcher on the first post is 2.1, which have different outer barrels and better finish than 2.0. Now, im modifing it to 2.2. Just basicly better finish and some look differences to 2.1.
Version 2.0 on my mc51. My mc51 isn\'t like that anymore. No green hand grip and stock for example.

Yeah i maybe spray some matt black to it so that it's not that bright but dark green.I second that. I say repaint it a more foliage kind of color.E;
I just painted it and looks really nice but I must wait until paint gets dry. Its now kinda "matt dark green" with some matt black stripes on it. I post pics asap

You have to see the old one!Wow, that's UGLY, but quite innovative. If you see it like 20 feet away u think it looks like mp5 with no mag and when you see it closer your like "what the heck is that?"

Only topic i found to be similiar to this is that "homemade stuff" but it's locked.
My self made nade launcher on my "custom" mc51. It shoots 1-30 bbs at a time and I've been using yellow gas with it. Its based on ksc mac11 mag and shortened p90 inner barrel. Trigger is taken from springer mp5a3. Whole thing is been put together with chemical metal. It can be attached to any 20mm rail and locks in place with small screw.
It it quite simple to use; Pull those plastic outer barrels out and you can put the gas in. half inch above it is end of the barrel and you can use speedloader to fill it with bb's you want to use. I like to use .12g bb's because they are cheaper than .2g and they hit enemies faster.. Then put small paper plug and push it into the barrel so that bb's dont come out. Then put outer barrels back and you are ready to use it.
Trigger presses magazines valve and gas unburdens to the barrel. This is actually second version of this launcher, and the earlier was much bigger, like size of mp5, and REALLY ugly. It was "full plastic" and was put together with hot glue. That version is reviewed in special article of finnish airsoft magazine called "softaaja".

Thanks, well it is as sturdy as plastic can be. Feels rock solid when its in the gun, doesnt wobble or move around at all unlike in most guns.
