  1. Punky, is that one of those chinese 3-shooters?

I have a dire feeling that will be my next purchase, probably the folding tactical you have there.

How do you like it? Does the plastic construction detract from it in a big way?

    Steve

ah sorry for missing out on this thread.

yes its one of those chink 3 shooters. its fantastic, i dont think the plastic detracts from it in a big way. because only the body is made of the black smooth plastic. everything else thats plastic is rubberised and feels really good, or else it's metal. since i tend to grab my shotty by where the barrel joins the body, i grab a handful of metal everytime and it just gives the gun this massively solid feel.

    I have 17 for my M3

Punky, what's the stock feel like atm? Sturdy?

    :zorro:

yea pretty sturdy. feels a bit... scratchy while slidig out, even after i've oiled the insides, but a minor niggle. once extended its pretty rock solid.

9 shells all mounted on the stock is a considerable amount, though.

yep :) and all i did was zip tie a sling mounted shell holder onto the stock. i's so clever :D

    quoted for truth :D

    :D

  2. pretty sure theres a MP5 thread and even MP7 thread, but what the hell a SMG is a SMG

heck i just found a Mac and Uzi thread too. :P

  3. Quick G36 noob question:

I have a broken G36C (brothers). The selector and GB are fubar'd completely. If I bought a used TM G36, could I just drop the internals in? Or a new TM compatible GB?

My main question is whether TM and CA bodies are interchangeable.

What is your G36C? If it was a JG or CA, then yes. they're interchangable. I have both TM and CA bodies on my JG G36K.

  4. Thanks Guiness for this awesome guide...!!! As soon as I saw this guide I raced to my nearest hardware store to purchase some steel wool and some fine grained sandpaper.

And then I went to work on my KJ Works Colt M1911A1. I don't think I went too far and I took it in small steps and my M1911A1 went from this:

    To this:

I didn't do too much to the slide as the trademarks are printed on and not engraved nor did I do the grips. I'm waiting for some original M1911A1 grips. But I did some edges and where wear and tear normally would occur and I'm actually really satisfied with the result.

in the 1st picture, the entire gun had this grainy, textured plastic look. was that just a side-effect of picture taking, or did the aging actually remove that effect?

Btw, I'd just weather the trigger a bit more. I'm glad to see you've remembered to weather it and even paid attention to which side the finger enters the trigger guard from.

Triggers are one of the bits that experience the most wear and tear on a gun.

Some of the other pictures of weathering posted by others seem to show that people forgetting to weather the trigger, esp the M4 that Animale posted.

Otherwise, generally an excellent job by everyone who's posted pics in this thread.

Edited: @neros131: I hope you don't think I'm nitpicking but judging by the level of "wear and tear" you've applied to your AK, the trigger seems too new as well.

  5. Thats about all i've learnt! As for why see my sig.

yea but china chinese people discriminate against their own. Anyone who speaks english is worshipped like a god. I only find knowing chinese useful for when dealing with HK retailers or ebaybanned.

  6. 你好 美 女

Nice AUG, you might be better off mounting the laser on the left hand side though. That way it is it might snag on your SAAV, also try routing the cable on the other side and crossing the top of the receiver behind the rear of the scope mount.

Lol thanks. Been learning chinese? :P

I might give your suggestion a try :)

    LOL.

Nice AUG - been some time I've seen a nice A1...makes me want to get one haha.

    Thanks :)

i love your aug punkypink ...

    Thanks too :)
