Sorry, been unable to access the forum from home.
The speedloaders are HKS 29 speedloaders, real steal available from midway UK for about £8 (and I think dentrinity stock them too for ~$15).
The range testing was done with propane+ .28g HPMs/Guarder gas+ .25g Blasters, with the hop up set full.
Because of the increase in FPS, there is not enough hop to get .28g going that far when using the Guarder gas. It's fine with propane though.
I'll try and do some more scientific range guestimates + groupings when I can.

I made a post about this, before I noticed this one. I'm having the same problem. My postcode is YO62 6TR, (if that helps) and ISP is ADSL24. Haven't been able to access the forum all weekend at home.

Hi,
I've been under the assumption the forums were down the whole weekend, assuming that's not true then I can't access the forums from my home internet connection. Anyone have any idea why? If anyone can help, can they respond via PM with their email address, so I get the message through to my email. I get this:
This web page is not available.
The webpage at http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/index.php? might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.
Here are some suggestions:
- Reload this web page later.

Hopefully the M36 (and M60 if it every comes out) will be in line cost wise with the "Police Revolver" X Cartridge that have been released in the past week at some HK retailers (~$70). I've sent a couple of emails to HK retailers stocking the Police revolver asking when the M36 will come in stock, no replies as yet - still hoping.
Also forgot, wood grips are available from dentrinity (~$70, think I'll pass...), which if you've got the dough would certainly help with the current grips (which have started to creak...just a little, still gonna have a go at making some wood grips myself).

If anyone wants any pictures of anything specific, let me know.
The source of the low FPS on double action appears to be related to some kind of difference between the power of the hammer spring. I gave Guarder Powerful Gas a go, gave it a bit more range (.25g sails out to 60m, but the hop isn't particularly consistent, so sometimes they overhop at 40-50m, sometimes they drop at this range, regardless...damn good range), but I got light strikes on single action (I actually got light strikes with this gas with my TM Glock 17, not with my TM M1911 though). As some sort of basic benchmark, I can hit a man-size object at 32-3m every time, if the wind (windy on the moors) doesn't grab it first.
Skirmishing it is truly fantastic fun, the trigger pull on single action is basically zero, fantastic for snap shooting. The easiest method of reloading it just putting BBs in the shells from the front of the cylinder at quiet points in the battle, unless you need to reload really quickly, then it is easier to swap shells with the set from the HKS speedloader (when skirmishing this on its own against AEGs, I had to "quick reload" with the speedloader once). I think all afternoon I fired about 50-70rds, landing at least 30 hits (I stopped counting after 30).
One thing, don't put loose shells in a pocket with BBs, the rubber seal at the back of the shell is exactly 6mm, and the BBs like to jam themselves into it. Quite tricky to get out (and you can't use the shell till you do) in the field. Also, these seals like to slip out of some of the shells, I just put a dab of superglue on them to keep them secure (you can still use the shell without the seal, you lose quite a bit of FPS however).
Next game I'll give it a chrono with Guarder Gas, I would guess 300-320, which is perfectly good for CQB.
I'm looking forward to getting the M36 2" X cartridge in 8mm as a backup to keep in my pocket, when it is released. I'm tempted by the Raging Bull, but I figure I'd use a snub-nose revolver more than another full length.

Anyone have any idea what a stock (now) KWA MP7 with the rocket valve spring from the NPAS set installed will do FPS wise? I believe someone mentioned that this spring lowered FPS, but I may be imagining things.

Turns out my NPAS is broken too.

Marushin M500 6mm with wood kit:

It is indeed. Bloody fantastic performance too, skirmished it last weekend and stopped counting the number of kills after 30
It's especially good at shooting tiny portions of exposed limb poking out of corners

Make sure the spring on the trigger hasn't bent a little bit. Happened to mine causing the problems you describe, just use a pair of plyers to pull it back into shape.
-
Done, didn't notice the size - sorry!

Put the whole chassis back in, then put in the fire selector or bolt release just to keep the chassis in place, then get the trigger in.

Practice, I've taken it apart about a dozen times and it just goes in first time every time now. Best brief advice, keep it as far forward as you can as you rotate it in.

I did experience something odd on friday. I was test firing it before skirmishing the next day, fired half a dozen rounds then experienced some sort of jam. I've no idea what caused it, but the trigger did nothing and the bolt would only move about .5 cm by pulling the bolt handle. I knocked out the rear receiver pin (I only have one) and tried to pull the whole bolt assembly out. Wouldn't budge. Pulled so hard I was afraid I would break the stock off, before it just came free. I have precisely no idea what the problem was, and it hasn't happened since.
Most puzzling.

I haven't, don't have a dremel - although I haven't noticed any curving; just straight until it loses oomf and drops.
-
Don't think so. It's pretty easy, as long as none of the screws are overtightened.

Someone posted it quite a few pages ago, can't find it but it involves wrapping PTFE tape and getting rid of the clicky thing - I tried it and it works for me.
I'll have a look tonight for the post if it's not found by then.

Elite Shooting center in the uk has npas in stock but does anyone know what version of the npas they have ?

Greg- butler creak fited fantastically to my micro aimpoint
I got mine from ESC, don't know how to tell what version it is however.
