Nice... ich do something simmilar but with the real Bundeswehr markings.
What method are you using?
Do you have any reference? Would like current and 'older' style if possible.
-
Indeed, your call. To get the RS rail to fit an AEG takes about a minute with a Dremel.
-
The problem with adding fake wear is that it looks like fake wear unless you're extremely clever and careful.
Yeah, I've seen some right pig's ears around the bazaars.
The only two I've never touched is my G36 (difficult to weather polymer anyway) and my VFC HK416 - it's so delicious I simply can't bring myself to do it!
-
Well... I skirmish once every four to five weeks. I own around 15 rifles which get used on rotation so none of them would ever get worn to any visible extent. Besides, I'm primarily a collector and weathering adds a great deal of authenticity without actually damaging the gun. Most airsoft replicas look like toys without any wear.
-
Ah, righty - no worries. The rifle's in perfect condition. Never scraped, dinged, battered or bashed; it's all hand-weathered. ;) It's actually a little bit 'worse for wear' than the photos show. I'll get to work on the ACOG/Docter/wings later in the week.
-
In that case then I'm confused?! MTP logo?
-
Closest to 100% so far, like the MTP logo. Presume the wear is just natural usage?
They've been worn a few times for skirmo. Not allowed to wear 'em for work yet.

Current config:

Yeah... I'm kinda liking that.
Great pic too, elchinator.

Took a gamble as they were an unknown site (to me). The site's in French too so I had to rely on my rudimentary knowledge of it but they came through and delivered very quickly. Good communication via email as well (Zero One; take note).

Yeah, I had to get a machinist to drill to correct diameter for the outer barrel then re-tap the thread to 14mm CW. Right bugger it was, so I'm told.

Try paying $1225 for it! I paid that and I'm very happy.
What do you mean there's no hop up? It doesn't work or it's simply not there?
I also don't understand why you'd need a hop on a 390fps, full-auto support weapon.
The barrel does come off but is 'reassuringly' tight.
Go through the motions of taking it off with the correct unlocking of the barrel then wedge a large flat bladed screwdriver where indicated in the image below. Simply lever the barrel away from the body.

Just bend the plug pins upwards and towards the front out of the way... gently!

Interesting - how do jetcarrier get around ITAR restrictions?
-
It performs like a flamethrower. Mounted on a locomotive. On steroids.
Best money I ever spent on an AEG.
-
I'm having them engraved as we speak. Results soon.
-
Uhuh.
-
Might as well....
-
But anyway, airsoft, like I say a plastic L85 (obviously one that's based on something real rather than just being cheaper than metal) would make an ideal skirmish weapon far as I'm concerned.
Or just MTFU and get on with it!

Hopefully, he'll get the replacement parts free.
(Sorry, I thought you were referring to the all-out cost of the M240!)
-
Eh, that's quite a bit for something that has no function....
I sense troll...

Hi. Was wondering if anyone has bought the Bomber Aluminum Bolt Carrier and if it's a drop-in fit with the KWA MP7? I don't know the metallurgy of the KWA's stock bolt carrier and I wanted (hopefully) a lighter bolt carrier to get it to lock back on empty with freon on the gun.
I run two Bomber bolt carrier assemblies - one for winter, one for summer. Drops in fine on the KSC so I don't see why it shouldn't on the KWA.
-
RS stock won't fit without lots of modification.
I did demand a free replacement. Echo 1 hasn't gotten back to me yet.
Your issue was what made me switch to the (more expensive) UK supplier. If it's a dog, they'll be hearing from me!
