  1. Second bolt assembly now fully built.

I'm currently running with the rocket valve for winter and will drop-in the bolt assembly with the stock valve for summer.

I have a 150% recoil spring - with which configuration should I use it? Will its use minimise shock to the damper/rear end or increase it?

  2. Cheers.

Given what a balls-ache fiddling with the MP7's innard is, I'm collecting the component parts for a second, fully-built bolt assembly with the Rocket Valve. This is so I can just drop it in when the season's change.

I have everything for the second one except the Piston Head - does the 'Action Piston Head' come supplied with the requisite screw to attach it?

Also, the little bar at the back that holds the springs in place - is that available as a spare or should I just make my own from metal rod? That's possible but what screw would I use to secure it?

    Are you experienced?

  3. Are that Star sight any good?

    No, it's sh*te.

It adjusts the brightness of the red dot automatically depending on ambient light intensity. problem is; the darker it gets, the darker the dot gets so it's not practical for indoor use (i.e. no dot at all!).

  4. No worries. :) It's a royal pain in the ares every time I fit the battery - but worth it.

All told, I still prefer the original A2 green furniture but this is one AEG I'l always want 100% current. Roll-on those other enhancements I mentioned!

  5. Thanks. I'm trying to avoid the steel one for that very reason. I'm lead to beleive that the KSC Jap version now comes with a plastic bolt carrier although I'm certain my first one had a metal one...

  6. Looking at upgrading a KSC (Japan) MP7A1 - can someone confirm if there is both a steel and an aluminium bolt carrier available? I'm seeing conflicting/confusing descriptions on various sites.

Is it necessary to install this on the KSC Jap?
