I agree with you there Frontsight, when I had my full metal G27 that thing rocked! And now I welcome a KJ Glock 23 .40sw into my collection.

Allright, well the HFC 'stylish barrel weight' as HKPRO calls it is some cheap light weight plastic that would proably snap in half if you look at it the wrong way. I'm trying to track down a real one right now, or if not see if I can get one machined using this as a refrence. I originally bought it just for photo sakes because it looks bad *albatross*

My newly aquired Heavy Weight HFC USP Match Springer. And yes the compensator IS removable, just held on by 2 screws. Proably fits the KSC, not sure though how different the dimensions are.

Actually a few people I know have leaking magazines specifically on their USP .45s, after a few months my USP mag was leaking like crazy and I couldnt fix it either. My USP compact never had a problem. Its possible you have a gas leak that might be developing.
-
Now is the G17 actual HeavyWeight material like KSC's metal mixed polymers? Or is the G17 just like the construction of their existing G26.
-
Oddly enough the fitment was a direct drop in with no modification nessessary.

With AUTHENTIC Glock trademarks, lol.

Im using the Classic Army G36K RAS and barrel assembly package on my G36E. Just by chance the barrel threads happen to come really close to the front, and since my silencer has the threading starting before the main body of the silencer, I can screw it on without using a barrel extension or what not, it sits perfectly flush and gives my G36 and awesome streamlined look. You can find these RAS and barrel/piston set on UNCo at a price of $128.00 USD

Various G36 Pictures. Just got my CA KAC RAS and barrel assembly this morning, still in the process of fitting it.

The collection, thus far.

These are both Maruzen M870's, claims that the G&P CA870 sets will not fit are false (I bought one just to test that theory), both the barrel and magazine tube extension fit, however the magazine tube extension is purely for looks and is slightly too small to accept more shells and the barrel needs minor modification to fully slide into place, other than that it looks awesome. I threw it on my broken M870 for looks and I think it makes a mean prop!.

This image might be a bit large, picture quality sucks because its difficult to phootgraph something this size up close without a wide angle lens.

Can't remember if I posted these ones before but here they are again!

Heres another update with the same camera angles, but this time I have now added a lovely nylon fiber SEF lower grip. The grip is made from the same material as CA's G36 line and looks great, the ergonomic right hand grip feel quite comfortable and gives the MP5K a more business look to it.

Azulsky knows how it's done! I shoot with a Canon EOS 20D and a Vivitar 283 flash, makes everything just pop right out.

I recently aquired a Classic Army MP5K metal body and a new TM MP5K PDW. I must say the quality of the finish on the CA is nice, but it has got to be the worst metal body I have ever seen in terms of casting. Fitting it took a loooot of work. The end result is this, just the begging of a much longer project I have planned.

now all I need is a stainless USP match with it and I can be Gordon Freeman
That is awesome... HL2 style. -
You would be exactly right about that budawg. I bounced a flash off my white celing onto a set of whiteboards which the gun is placed on, and by adjusting the levels a certain way, the background just dissapears because its so pure and white due to the flash. It looks like it was cut out, but thats just the nature of using a flash, it really makes your objects pop right out

I would definitely say go with the KSC Glock 19 with a HeavyWeight frame. Great kick, and a fun gun straight out of the box.
