anyone know if these mags for the px4 are compatible with the TM beretta 92 or m9a1?
They're not, fairly different design. The M9A1 is still using the standard TM M9 mags.

The green slide was actually starting to grow on me, but I much prefer the black. Now all I need is a TK silencer adaptor and a suitable looking light, which are gonna have to way til payday.
As for the sights, I'm not a fan of 3 dots or full F/O's, but I like the standard black notch with the F/O front sight, gives a decent contrast. Still, each to their own - As long as they're not frikkin' 1911A1 sights, it takes about half an hour to acquire a decent sight picture.
-
TM Customs is it? Alrighty then... Thanks to Aitch for sorting me out with both the exact slide and front sight I was after in one fell swoop!
*edit* Also, I'll try and get some pictures that aren't total jank when I get some better light.

I like. Is nice.

I gotta say, after seeing Ollie's (That guy posting there above), it doesn't seem to suffer from the usual KSC/KWA hop design at long ranges; I was thoroughly impressed, if not amazed.

Literally just watched BHD last night; That's a really, really nice gun. GBBR by the look of the bolt? Flashhider is a really nice touch as well.

Loadout
TM L96 + PDI internals (465 FPS)
TM M14 + Guarder/SHS internals (356 FPS)
G&P M7A1 (300 FPS)
G&P Mk.23 Stoner (330 FPS)
TM Mk.23 Socom (345 FPS)
@ Phubar: I see in your "loadout" above you have a TM Mk23 clocking 345 Fps, what type of gas do you use to attain this velocity may I ask?
Green Gas. I skirmish with Phubar and he's a good friend of mine, so hopefully he won't mind me answering on his behalf here. Like myself, Phubar is happy enough that the TM produced pistols he owns, in the UK climate, are perfectly capable of handling Green Gas without suffering damage as a result. Like me, Phubar is happy that the benefits of running his pistols on Green Gas outweigh the very minor risk of failure in his specific models of pistol. My Foliage Warrior cycles and performs like an absolute nutcase on Green Gas, and I'm thoroughly confident, short of a ridiculous heatwave, that it will continue to do so. If it breaks, I will buy replacement parts and repair it myself, or send it off to be repaired and pay the full cost due to my deliberate, calculated, considered voidance of the warranty.
The long and short of it is this;
1: You voided the warranty on your gun. Unfortunately, due to a very hot day and high pressure gas, it's suffered a failure. I know that's annoying, and you have my condolences. However, FireSupport aren't even in the slightest bit at fault. At all. In any way, shape, or form. They've abided by the retail law they're obliged to, and frankly there's absolutely no cause for harming their hard earned and excellent reputation as a result.
2: Some models of TM pistols are fine on Green Gas. There are plenty of ways to research and establish which models of TM pistol handle Green Gas, and which don't. The usual logic is TM pistols with big cylinders to give a harder kick on 134 (XDM, Deagle, 5-7, etc) aren't likely to handle GG well due to the increased volume of gas going into the blowback cycle. Others with smaller cylinders tend to be okay, unless you use them in the height of summer or with exceptionally high pressure gases. Using GG in a TM pistol is a calculated risk which many of us gladly take; If the evidence available suggests the model you own is likely to handle it (Such as a 1911 or Hicapa), you'll reap the benefits of a quicker cycle and better performance. However, if it breaks, you'll be paying for the repairs.

The Five-SeveN, Deagle, and XDM I've heard of problems with Green gas; However, I've owned many TM pistols, and I've never had a problem with any 1911, Detonics, Hicapa, PX4 or Beretta 92's using Green Gas; On particularly hot days I've had the slide of a G17 jump off the rails at the rear, but without causing damage.
Saying that, I've seen evidence of XDM's blowing the cylinder, Five-seveN's generally annihilating themselves and Deagles having issues on Green Gas.
In the end though - I know certain TM models will handle Green Gas and run like trains on them; I know there's an increased likelihood of damage, but I'm willing to run the risk - However, I'm also fully aware the risk I'm taking is a broken gun I have to repair myself.

Will the Element Anti-Rotation links work on the WE M4?
I can't first hand confirm it, but I'm fairly sure they won't - The WE trigger pack is nothing like the WA/G&P, so I'd bet no

And red is my favourite colour! Guessing it's a TM ABS slide right? Either way, PM me how much you want for it and consider it sold
Also, maybe so, but I know Mike has advertised second hand stuff for people before! Saying that I doubt it'll be around long, they're pretty rare. Anyhoo, I'll shut up now before it gets even more off topic

I have a 4.3 slide here, ill dig it out tommorrow and check it out meanwhile someone buy my GRP
That'd be hugely appreciated man, cheers! And I'd buy the GRP if I had the money Might be worth asking Mike Cripps nicely to advertise it for ya, seeing as it's box-fresh?
Also, I think this may be the first ghetto fibre optic front sight I've seen on these boards... Filed out a gouge, superglued fibre optic rod, et voila. I'll be replacing it with a proper one once payday gets here, but it actually works perfectly...
Sidenote; The TM ACU foliage warrior grips are so godawful I actually can't even give them away for free.
-
Try elite shooting centre they have them for about £10
Cheers man, alas Mike hasn't got any 4.3 slides - He's only stocking 5.1's these days, and to have him order a 4.3 slide it's about £28 new, which is a bit more than I fancy paying!
-
As much as I hate to say it, FireKnife is right in constantly harping on about stock TM 1911's This thing just performs like a monster. God I've missed cycle speeds this quick...
Also, if anyone happens to have an utterly mint, box-fresh, flawless, perfect condition TM 4.3 Hicapa slide in Black they want rid of, I shall pay a fair sum for such an item.

I dunno, half of my job involves filing and I always manage to *fruitcage* that up royally. There's just too many sections in the big cupboard.
-
I've got a bomber MRP on the way is all, and I'm really inclining more and more towards the KWA system when it comes to the mags... 2 of my G&P Pmags have begun leaking (Admittedly after a year without any real maintenance and being left in a hot car, but I don't fancy diassembling them).
Guessing modifying the holes or potentially the pins would be pretty much a no-go as well?
-
Damn Cheers for the confirmation dude.
-
Curiosity, but has anyone/is anyone able to try and see if a WA M4 upper fits on this? I'm guessing it's unlikely...
-
There's also the fact that a bright red dot on the very tip of a front sight post when co-witnessed with the red dot sight looks frikkin' cool as hell.

I found a Tokyo Marui Piston cup to give an excellent seal with the red KJ nozzle when I was trying to get my old KJ 1911 to get more than 6 shots from a green gas mag; If you're going to try new piston cups, I'd definitely put a stock TM one on the list.
Also, everything else aside, it's a damn pretty gun.

Not to mention the 14.5" outer barrel should really be 4" at most. And that pistol grip has a totally unnecessary finger-nub, that could be shaved off.

Decided it looked a little bare up front with just the light, and the grip provides quite a nice index point when using the light. Plus, it doesn't really add much weight. Also swapped out the 12" for a 10.5" barrel.
Also now featuring Element Anti-Rotation links;
Also, Itinerious, lose the slip ring and just have the barrel nut dude. That's another weight saving right there

That's a really really nice piece... I wish I had the confidence to do a compensated barrel like that, but alas I'd only screw it up! Looks awesome.

That's what I thought, but I couldn't say with 100% certainty! The R/S colour definitely looks a lot nicer... Wonder if there's any kind of Krylon that matches it...

Cheers man; I've had one before, I just don't have the £15 at the moment! Screw my financial life.
Voodoo, painted frame or different frame with the rail fitted on? I've got an A1 and MEU frames just knocking around...
