  1. anyone know of a compatible buffer tube? I bought a G&P thinking it would fit but its diameter is larger than the agm one.

The AGM lower receiver threads are different then the RS threads, so any other buffer tube will not work. You ahve to buy a AGM replacement or buy another lower receiver.

  2. I already filed it down a bit to fit the original WOC mag. I'm now concerned that if I file it down some more, the WOC mag won't fit right. Besides, it fit fine without the upper receiver, does that mean it's still the mag catch?

It's cause when the whole upper is on, the BCG is in the way so you need to file the mag catch to let the magazine sit lower.

  3. So maybe I should just get the bolt carrier then and save 40$. It should be better than my ACM pot metal bolt carrier right? I'm not looking for a high ROF, just recoil and durability.

Might even consider the JDT ones, I wonder if they work well with Pro-win mags...

  4. So to those who have the ACM M4, how do you like the mags, they havn't sold the JG mags seperatly yet, and I sware by those, so maybe they'll have the ACM ones soon. So how do you guys like them?

The mag that came with my ACM M4 was disappointing. It leaks from the fill valve, top, and bottom, the bolt stop arm broke, and the mag rubber was too soft and ripped in less than 200 rounds. You'd be better off getting a GHK or Pro-win mag.

  5. Thanks for the replies guys. :D

Would it still work if I filed both the magazine and magwell so they could be compatible with other bodies and magazines?

I'll probably be sticking with GHK a long time, unless the Prowin mags are 50ish and the G&P mags are state-side.

  6. Because the AGM mags are heavier(though I've been told they're more true to a fully loaded real steel mag weight), have an unrealistic finish, and tend to leak a lot if you don't know how to fix it. I'd like mine more if it didn't leak so bad.

I love my GHK mag because I haven't had problems with it and it feeds nicely for me. Though I use 5.95mm or something of that matter sized BBs. And I have heard that on certain GHK mags you have to file down the plastic lips a little to make proper BBs feed right. Hearing that GHK feed lips wear down does make me weary though, what bolt carrier/bolt were you using?

Do you have the ACM or AGM M4? Can you get at least 1 mag on non stop full auto with bolt catch with the GHK? How did it perform in a skirmish?

EDIT:I'm stupid :P You have the AGM M4, hence the AGM mag.

I HATE 5KU PARTS! They're incomplete by themselves and are off spec!

    How do I know?

5ku NPAS - Too fat and will not fit standard nozzles without modification

5ku Sear - Too FAT completely off spec

5ku Boltstop - Missing bolt stop piece (The little notch that actually does the job)

    Whats going on?!?!!?!?!?

    /rant

My 5KU NPAS fit perfectly with my ACM M4 nozzle. But the pin hole on it was too small for my other nozzle. Just another case of different manufacturer specs, I suppose.

Also, what are the ACM/AGM owners' opinions with GHK magazines?

My local shop(owned by my neighbor, yay!) says that the GHKs are a bit iffy, with sticky valves and some misfeeding. He also said he could get AGM magazines, but I'm sort of against Chinese magazines, with their bad QC and all.

  8. Would this RIS work on the ACM M4?

Also, when I pull back the bolt on my gun, the hop up wheel moves towards the delta ring like 1/3 of a centimeter. Would this cause anything bad to happen? My magazine is shot, so I really can't test it out.

    Colazel:

You can buy GHK magazines from RA-Tech.

Also, are GHK magazines compatible with the RA-Tech mag rubbers?

  9. I used my AGM M4 today for the first time .

After under 200 rounds (it was preowned) the nozzle unit shattered!

Anyone have any idea if the Element EX105 High power nozzle will work ok and will it be compatible with the Npas from my old nozzle ?

    Cheers

NO, don't get the Element. It works, but it will break quickly just like the AGM. I got the Energy one, which is made of a better quality plastic than the Element. It fits perfectly with my 5KU NPAS.

  10. Mostly negative reviews on them.. They apparently crack very quickly, AGM nozzles seem to be largely preferred over the Elements

Are you talking about the Element or the Energy? I would buy the AGM, but they're out of stock everywhere.

Also, is there anyway to fix a magazine leak from the bottom without opening it up, cause I have a broken arm right now :P ?
