Here is my baby. SFW with AG36 launcher. Based on a TM Sopmod, with internal upgrade parts from Prometheus, Eagle6 M100 spring, Firefly rubbers, Guarder 407mm inner barrel, perr_mike barrel extention, and Army Code front sight. Chrono says an average of 353 fps, based on ten shots. Will put some tention on the spring to get it below 350 fps. Will test it properly outside when light conditions allow. Hopefully the range will be ok. Apollogies for the webcam pics...

Spot on Number5. A convertion kit for HK416 would have been very nice.

A 10"/16" barrel for the Diemaco SFW would have been nice.

I would not let parts from an Army R43 come anywhere near my TM Sopmods.

The xtm rail covers were a right f.....g pain to install. Finally had to cut a few mm off each to make them fit properly.

The recce is a limitid edition product. It`s rather hard to come by outside of Japan/Hong Kong. Fortunately I managed to get hold of one, from Japan. I `m planning to convert it to a dmr. Have all the prometheus internals lined up. Just waiting for a M120 spring from Richard. Also changed to a Magpul stock.

I have two V2 recoil rifles. On the first the bolt lock mechanism has never worked. When the magazine is empty, the rifle continnues to fire. Btw all my magazines are set in 82 rd mode. When I received the second rifle I noticed that the bolt catch stood erected from the receiver (like it should) when the rifle had an empty magazine inserted. However I haved not fired this rifle yet, as I`m waiting for my airsmith to wire it the way I want it. I have switched magazines between the two rifles, but to no effect. Status quo for both rifles. This leads me to belive that the problem lies with

Over at ehobbyasia.com they now stock upgrade parts from Lonex. Never heard about this brand. China????? Have no idea about the quality of the products. Better start reading then......!!!!!! The answer is no and yes. First and foremost - NOOOOOO! But there is an alternative. You can buy and fit an adaptor to the rifle. This will enable you to use standard aeg mags. But this will disable the bolt lock function.

I got a fully internally upgraded Sopmod. Nozzle, spring guide, piston head, cylinder head...... Just received the M90 spring from Richard today. How many coils of the spring will I have to remove to get it just below 300 fps? There is a limit of 300 fps for cqb in Norway.

Recce rifle arrived today. Looks good . Quite light. Here with KA Harris bipod and KA scope. Only negative is that the inner barrel is for the cqb set up. Shold have been for both 10,5" and 16" set ups, like the VFC HK416 Deluxe version.

Where can I purchase the Prometheus gears? Can`t find them anywhere.

Actually I intend to make a 10" SFW from a Socom, as that one is front-wired, and use a peq-15 for the batteries. But as for the 16" I would prefer to have it rear-wired, not making the gun to heavy in front, and keeping it "clean". The 10" though: Peq-15 with batteries, Surefire Scout, tactical foregrip.........

Just bought a Sopmod CQB-R, and will be converting it to a 16" Diemaco SFW/L119A1. I`ll have the outer barrel cut down to 10", rethreaded, and then use the Pro-Arms barrel extention. I plan to keep it rear-wired, and use a 7.4 lipo with deans, stored in a pouch fixed to the stock. Any better suggestions? Also planing to use the same upgrades as piggeh mentioned a few pages back. Or would I be better off with the same parts from Prometheus?
