  1. Well, thanks for this thread then, when I first saw the PX4 I wasn't really up for it being a G17 / P226 kind of a guy, after reading this I have the sad and empty feeling that my bank account will be taking a hit in the near future. Unless it's not too late to ask Santa for one that is.

Could this be the start of a next generation from TM? has their already great quality gone even higher up the tree?

I personal think the tm px4 is there best pistol to date. Ive always used tm pistols and find the px4 to be the best quality in regards to build fit and finish and just overal look and feel of the pistol. My prevous experiance to tm pistols include the 1911 meu and the desert eagle. The tm meu is nice to hold and feel just looks to shinny when looking at it. The desert eagle had casting marks on the frame, If I was asked to buy another TM pistol wouldnt hesitate at buying another px4

  2. Yeh i placed my order with them no problems at all it was just a very expensive order and was a bit concerned with no contact from them saying at they recieved the order, had the parts in stock and when it was dispatched. Only took 3 days overall just not that knowing that worries you.

Just been looking through my junk mail and found there confirmation of dispatch and a confirmation of the order

  3. I don't have a G39 but keep a close eye on this topic for a possible future purchase.

The issue with the over hop with .25, I use .30 as standard would that flatten out the trajector?

PDI make trigger parts so that should improve reliability!

I used 0.30 in mine no over hop at all straight shot out to some impressive ranges.

  4. All I will say is that its a great gun and overall proberly one of the least problamatic we gbbr on the market at this point in time. On the other hand is something does break it can be a pain to source replacement parts and when you do they could be out of stock or people want heavy price to ship them to you

  5. Looks to be a standard gbb pistol hop up rubber. One thing i noticed after re assembly that the feeding end of the rubber doesn't always seat properly in the lip of the chamber. A gentle run around the edge with a small flat bladed screwdriver gets it back to round rather than oval.

Its a vsr hop style rubber so anything for a tm vsr or tm pistol will fit. Mine was really oilly and not sure if this was my problem so wiped the oil out.

  6. bagpuss! just give it some welly mate its not like that fragile cateram of yours :bleh:

Well I took my barrel nut off the other day and only need a flat blade screw driver and some muscle behind it. Im pritty sure ive got a very very small c spanner in tool box that will fit not used it within the last 10 years so.

I found the hop nub to be pritty big but the slot it fits in to be even bigger. Im just trying to work out which hop rubber to buy but think ill take it and test it out first before I spend on a hop rubber that it might not need

  7. Just a heads up for you guys been having trouble with range bbs droping and not getting anywhere near what i used to be able to hit no matter how much hop I added or took off. Was going to order a new hop rubber so I thought I would have ago at removing the old one stripped it down to find that the nub in the hop unit wasnt seated correctly under the leaver and looks like this might have a been the problem for the lack of range. While I was there removed the bucking and cleaned it as it was very heavley coated in silcon spray from the gases etc Hoping this has solved my problem. So if ur lacking range or accuracey is all over the place check the seating of ur nub before any thing else.

On another note my g39 has decided it doesnt like locking back on the last round. It manualy locks back on the last round and will lock back is gun is tilted slightly but if level and firing it wont lock back. Has any one else had this problem? If so can you help me out?

  8. Last I was aware using heavier BB's was not a deciding factor in the soft/hard choice.

Allways stuck to the rule that soft for under 350fps and hard for anything over.

Its just the link I posted for the hard rubber says for 0.25g or higher bb's and the softer one says for lower than 0.25g bb

there both out of stock so might end up with the nine ball purple anyway

  9. Has any one got links to a hop rubber that fitts the we g39? My gun at the last game was dropping shoots left right and centre and not even managing a straight shoot they would go up then drop down in a curve no matter where a move the hop adjust ment to really annoying.

  10. I'm back on the boat, cooped up in a tin can again so my mind is just saying 'buy it' but perhaps your suggestion is wiser. What's your opinion of this vs the hi-cappa?

    EDIT: Ta by the way

Not owned a hi cappa but had the tm 1911 meu and hands down i prefer the looks and feel of the PX4 lovely feel to it and u wouldnt even know its plastic its that good. controls are very well placed I find them a little stretch on the 1911 so would be the same on the hi cappa aswell I have to move my hand round to operate the slide release on the 1911 but on the px4 its all in reach from the go safetys good i leave mine decocked with round in chamber but safety of just needs a pull on the trigger and off she goes. If u wana wait till ur back ur more than welcome to try mine out

  11. Carnt thank you enough TM for a fantastic gun being using it alot over the weenkend at op copperstone at copehill down. Jusing it on propane and 0.3g madbull bbs carnt say how good the range is managed to get two kills well out of range of my ics m4 aeg if I had more mags would have used it all weekend as a primary weapon . First kill was 2 house up the street across the road from me I was on the 1st floor and he was behind a bush in the corner behind a compound wall . They had been firing at us for about 30 mins or so and the wind blowing in there favour. Mine and fellow team mates shots where falling short and curling away with the wind and had used all my assualt riffle mags up so was just keeping there heads down with my PX4 when I got the kill.

Second kill was as at a little bit shorter distance but was open ground between me and him in the few minutes before the 11am game end both on the corners of buildings I had the advantage of cover on my left side leaving my right side to shoot properly (right handed) he was hindered as he was right handed but cover was on his right side and reveled to much of his body and took one centre mass .

  12. Any one else had problems with bb's getting stuck inside there G39's had to stopages over the weekend from stuck bbs in side the gun first one got stuck behind mag release lever making mag changes awkard removed it worked fine till the next day when after firing at the enemy and got taken out walking back to regen went to stick the safety on safe and the fire selector and trigger was jammed. Regened and removed the trigger assembly to find a bb stuck in the trigger assembley causeing it to jam

  13. No, I wasn't clear enough. I never even make it to paypal. When you get to the step that takes you from RA-T's website to paypal's website so you can log in and pay, instead of going to paypal I get that error message on RA-T's site.

I had this a couple of weeks ago when ordering parts from them Would take ages to load through there website and then would time out. I placed my order late at night and it went through ok. May I ask which parts are you after? Have you tried

  14. More WE G39.

I can't make my mind up on the bullet sticker but I'm happy with the rest of it more or less. Just needs a light for CQB and an NPAS something tells me my local CQB site won't let me use a gun that averages 364fps.

Can anyone help me with disassembly? The rear pin just refuses to come out. It will move about 10-15mm then just stick, I don't want to force it and break something.

What I do is remove the rear pin first then remove the mag well pin Ive found if you remove the magwell one first it can cause the trigger group to move slightly adding pressure to the rear pin. If that fails try wiggling the trigger group while pulling on the pin

  15. Here my plate carrier I know some of you will say well why have you got Acu pouches on a multicam plate carrier, but to be honnest im not into all the gear stuff airsoft is all about fun to me so carnt care less what my gear looks like aslong as it works and carrys all the stuff I need

P.S Dont mind the cat every time I get my plate carrier out she has to sniff at it and climb all over it.
