  1. To those with MPLS lights and ARC rails, is the arc rail adapter lower profile than just bolting the MPLS on the helmet on with the helmet mount? My light only came with the helmet mount and the MOLLE mount.

Yeah the helmet mount would be lower profile but you can't run the ARC rails at the same time...

  2. WIP for an event this weekend:

Eagle Split Front MOLLE Chest Rig

    Paraclete M4

    Eagle RLCS Icom

    Paraclete Canteen

    Eagle Yote

    Paraclete Canteen

Paraclete 9mm with VS17/multitool (could probably all be moved into pockets/other pouches)

    2x Paraclete M4

I am unhappy with the amount of GP pouches on the rig (too much) - the left side GPS holds a nalgene and the right side one holds misc *suitcase* like a camera, batteries, hat, BBs, munchies.

Eagle Yote holds snivel gear (L2 and L7 vest) and can clip on/off easily and does not require me to take rig off.

Still unhappy with how heavy the Eagle chest rig is :\

MPLS was ordered over a month ago...still hasnt arrived but that will be added.

Norotos AKA2 mount is pending as well.

Plan on painting it all when its complete..

  4. I'm fairly sure that the U328 MBITR connector on the Silynx could be converted over to an ICOM 2 pin.

I was able to convert the QuietPro MBITR connector into a jack for the Selex radio.

Microphone and speaker was easy, the hard part was the PTT signal. Had to solder directly to the PCB

inside the PTT for the square button.

I tried to do it, it wont work without some form of resistor or something at a minimum.

  5. Where else can you get them? They are the only place I have seen them...would love to be able to get one now instead of waiting. To clarify, I am talking about the base jump not the bump - the base jumps price once you add it all up is actually very very good.

I am not mil/LEO - if I ever gave off that impression it was not my intention. I know a lot about gear as it's my job, but have never gone into harms way with it.

  6. The issue with FAST Base Jumps or FAST Carbons is not that they are rare or that non-mil/leo/gov personelle can't get them (heck anyone in the US can order direct from Ops-Core). It's that they are stupid expensive. However; given the right price I would pay for one but the right price would depend greatly on condition and it would have to be near the price of the Base Jumps, too much more and I'd just order one of them.

Actually thats not the problem - Ops-Core cant keep any of their helmets in stock.
