    Very nice gun

     

    love kimbers, LAPD and warrior/meusoc. Was wondering if you were me whould you buy a new WA Kimber Lapd/warrior/muesoc (havent decided which i want yet, love them all), or whould you buy a metal kit and install it on my current TM 1911... i have been wanting a kimber for a very long time and i finally have the cash for one :)

    To be honest, I'd go straight for the Kimber, as although you can upgrade and add to a TM 1911, it's still always going to be a TM 1911...it'll never officially be a Kimber. With regards to performance, WA haters were very impressed at the Kimber's performance, and it out fired many pistols on the range the other day, and the accuracy seemed good too.

     

    You can always get a WA Kimber and then pop a metal slide set on it...that's what I would do, however, I've just kept mine standard.

    Yeah it looks pretty good actually...it's pretty subtle which is good...

    I've got an ICS QD Silencer and G&P M203 on the way for my M15..definitely not using them together! Would be too long, and too impracticable I think.

    Thanks mate...it's all completely standard!

    Gonna get an aftermarket metal slide for it, and threaded outer barrel soon. Just adds that little bit extra!

     

    To be honest, my 226 is probably my favourite gun I've ever owned, even over my WA Kimber LAPD SWAT Custom II!

    Is that a KWA G19? I don't recall them having serial plates, correct me if I'm wrong.

     

    On another note, I've noticed that KWA's website no longer features the M series (Glock series). Are these going out of production, and if so, does anybody know where I could get a G19, preferably of high quality. I wish TM made one, as I'm much more comfortable with the G19. And with a somewhat lack of aftermarket parts, should I just give up and get a G17 instead?

     

    Yes they do have serial plates...it's just something that is easily missed.

     

    KWA seem to have halted production on their Glocks...can't get hold of them in the UK at the moment anyways, which I was quiet annoyed about. After selling 4 of mine, I decided I wanted another one!

    Yeah I've been in two minds whether to get one over the past few months...gonna give it a few weeks and then decide. Likelihood is that I will end up getting one..but it will definitely not be the RDS version.

    Haven't posted photos in absolutely ages, so just took a couple of snaps of my beloved M15...

    What we have is:

    CA M15A4 Tactical Carbine.

    CA RIS System with CA RIS Covers.

    Guarder MOD Tactical Vertical RIS Foregrip.

    King Arms Red Dot Scope.

     

    This is my standard setup for now, however I have a G&P QD M203 on the way, and also an ICS QD Silencer to add.

    Anyways, on with the photos:

    Oh really...how strange...gonna have to be a bodge job then, or just go and take it to a retailers to see what they can do I guess.

     

    Definitely looks like a worthwhile investment, it's just that horrible KWA logo is really putting me off...krylon anyone? :D haha.

    Let's go with baby-steps here. How about: "King Arms to release (more) slutted up Armalites". Because if your a victim of sluttiness, it's your own damn fault.

     

    You wanna be pedantic, so will I...

    Technically sluttiness and prostitution can be linked, and sometimes people are forced into prositution, so you can't exactly say it's their own damn fault. Try telling a "slut" that it's her own fault her family has collapsed, she is thrown out of a job, and has nowhere to live..and the only way to make a living is through soliciting on the streets...

    I think what we need here...is for people to take a step back...words are used alllll the time; I use "raped" constantly, in a non derogatory, and non offensive way. When it comes to playing a sport and you lose and a team member says, "argh we got raped out there today", it does not automatically mean it is to cause offense, or said in a derogatory or unethical way. Obviously it is a touchy subject, and rightly so; it is not something that I would wish upon anyone, however in the society of today, we learn to live with double meanings.

     

    If someone "shot themselves in the foot" by saying something at work and posted this online, would you turn round and say that this would trigger a mental relapse of someone having been shot? I think no. Similarly, if you were in a bad situation people often say they are royally f****d...is this gonna cause offense too?

     

    I think what Marlowe has said is very true...

    1) Some people don't understand the concept of social-specific lexis.

     

    2) None of the regular posters (or anyone who has posted more then a handful of posts, for instance) appears to have an issue with grasping such a concept.

     

    3) The people who generally don't grasp this concept do so because they are not regular users and thus incapable of seeing the usage of the word 'raped' in any context beyond a sexual one.

     

    Clearly offense is never meant, but political correctness does go waaay too far sometimes, look at it this way, my friend is a nursery school teacher, and they are no longer able to sing 'Bah Bah Black Sheep' without singing 'Bah Bah White Sheep' as well, because it could be deemed racist if one is sung without the other.

    Pathetic? I think so...it just shows how political correctness is overruling tradition and society; since when was the children's nursery rhyme ever meant to have anything to do with race? What sort of society are we living in today! It just seems to be getting worse and worse, soon everything we say will be taken in an offensive manner.

     

    Anyways, rant over, I just think sometimes things are taken too far, and people should chill out a little more, but that's simply my opinion...

    No offense to be caused through using the word raped, f****d, shot etc...I wouldn't like to be crucified for that ;)

    Looks good mate, nice review...

     

    Hmm the only thing I'm not keen on, is those KWA trades...just ruins the look IMHO..

    Apart from that, pretty nice gun. Any chance of a comparison against the CA or ICS equivalent by any chance if you know of someone with one?
