  1. Does anyone know if this will fit the tm px4 and is there anywhere I can get it that will ship to Ireland? I prefer to have a lanyard on stuff so it won't go too far.

Also has anyone reccomendation on how to keep the front sight in place? My one seems to be a fraction too small for the bevel or something.

    Thanks,

    Paul

Judging by the looks of the ones made for airsoft, no it won't work. However you can try buying the ones made for the marui PX4 from japan.

    http://www.first-jp.com/items/10/03/09/detail.php?itemcode=1003NIN00177 Here's one.

And on different colours : http://www.laylax.com/SHOP/px4_fook_web.html

Both are made by laylax/first factory/nineball however they're called this week. I believe they're fairly recent additions so we might see them on HK stores before too long.

If your front sight is loose, I use a folded small piece of paper under its. Puts enough pressure for it to stay in place without being so permanent as glue.

  2. I have no words to describe how beautiful that is.

    EDIT:

However, I could add that Anvil prime or detonator or who knows who made steel safety and slide catches for that.

  3. See it could well have been the recoil loosening the adjustment on mine, as occasionally I'd get laser accurate shots, sometimes no hop, sometimes overhop. I found it very inconsistent, but I thought that may have been down to the bucking in it... Either way, it's binned now! I'm using the stock G&P chamber as well, but due to the design of the MRP barrel I can't adjust it at all - I've got it flying .3's quite well at the moment, but it's annoying not being able to fine tune it.

IF I were to speculate what was happening with mine, I'd say that the recoil pushed the part that's spring loaded of the hop unit forward, just for a moment, decreasing pressure on the rubber and allowing the BB to seat itself at random depths of the hop rubber's notch.

Being a user of the Madbull Noveske rail myself, yes, it's VERY annoying.

  4. The one I had issues with was the Prime WA barrel rear adjust chamber - The stock rubber was a bit too hard for the FPS I'm running, so I went to change it - Unfortunately, the front and rear halves of the unit were fitted so tightly together they couldn't be separated, at least without a specialist tool. Trying to pry the two halves of the unit apart damaged it beyond repair unfortunately.

The Iron Airsoft one was indeed the latest type - 1004G I believe is the product code. Despite numerous different buckings, I couldn't get it to seal at all - The BB's were dropping feet in front of the muzzle, which was somewhat irritating to say the least!

Saying that, the Prime WA barrel type unit fitted and sealed nicely, so the next step is to save up a little and try the Prime AEG compatible unit, unless anyone has any better ideas...

Exact same problem with the prime chamber I had. That and the fact that recoil un-adjusted it no matter what I did.

In the end I just went for a stock g&P hop chamber and bucking, which works well.

  5.

@ Kenxin - yes that's the S70 truly finished now, I added a Nova brass hop-unit and Anvil stainless black barrel with the slight step like the original ;) Also finished my Raptor today with brass hop-up unit and Anvil grip-safety to match the stainless black of the trigger and slide-stop, also finished my CDP with control-parts Cerakoted in Aluminium Satin and tracked down the elusive Altamont Rosewood Double Diamond grips in Korea thanks to Volante - Top Guy ;)

I forgot to mention that the Kimber Magazine-Release Hex Latch screws are now available in Japan in Black, I had to get eight of them last week :)

I was wondering about the barrel. Do those barrels mate with the SD chambers? or is there a NOVA/Anvil chamber I'm not aware of?

  6. I was wondering why the finish on that Nova warrior was so odd and good-looking, and I'm still drooling over that S70. dayum.

Lovely Operator Drake, I thought I didn't like the LDC version...I was wrong.

And good 'ol  Hurricane Tactical Entry II.

    God I love this topic.

  7. Sorry for another double post. Kenix just checked with a buddy who got a pro CDP and no rail adapter thingy came with it. So then Kenix do you think I should get the marui inner frame cerakoted seeing as the PRO4 inner is not an option or is it a bit overkill can't make up my stupid mind. Please Help!!

That is indeed very odd, since both my Pro CDP and Pro Raptor both came with it and as far as I know those are definitely not old kits. Also, no old kit from NOVA came with the fake firing pin which means that these are indeed the 2013 runs.

You got all your 2013 NOVAs from Redwolf, right?

    IMG_04671.jpg

All the NOVA kits I have came from boomarms and they always come with that part.

As for getting the marui inner coated, I wouldn't.

  8. The old Nova kits came with a slide spacer and a fully railed slide, the new nova kits don't, they come with a cut out in the slide for the marui stock spacer that fits in the slide. I'm sure it would be no problem to fit the pro4 inner frame in the older Nova kits but not the new ones.

The new (2013 runs) also come with the part as far as I know.
