I noticed this aswell. And also have wear in the hole and front. I'm guessing it was to reduce the space between the barrel and the slide hole? I know I have a few GBBs that rattle because of the loose outbarrel.

Finally got the gun after 3 weeks in customs.

Might have to get the Grey. To keep myself from buying the real one because I already have enough handguns. Haha. Frustrated with how TM handguns are so off scale they fit in no Kydex holsters good. (Yes, I know they preform the best but still annoying. The M&P is huge compared to my real one.)

 

Though I Notice spare magazines are not in stock. May have to wait.

 

So why is the gun no longer able to be sold in America? No USA retailers even carry it. It was marketed hard when it came out.

Still wish TM would make there guns in spec size wise. They are always bigger than real. Its pretty snug in my Gcode holster. So much I have to use the holster with the adjustment screw fully out. And its still tight. My Real M&P and VFC M&P fit perfect.

Noticed Nova slide is pretty tight fitting to the gun. When running it in chilly weather, it would half cycle. Just gotta break her in!

Haha. I see we have similar tastes. Yeah its the Dytac. Was very happy when I saw they made a Grey BCM replica one. I like how the BCM style grip is angled slightly, feels good in hand.

 

Just the Rackminus, I like to run light so never really run a PC.

 

I love the Rackminus. I have a bunch of Tactical Tailor pouches(BFG Utility) on it and it's not that much heavier than my Haley D3 was. There is something cooler about setting up your own chest rig setup than using a already setup chest rig like the D3. (I still love the D3 but still). RE Factor had is super high quality, worth the price for a good Vented-style cap. Always preferred running solid color caps even with camo. I think it looks better than a camo cap. For Hyradtion I use the Haley Flatpack in Wolf Grey.

 

I mainly setup the Krytac like this because my real AR is close to that setup.(Just my real AR has a BCM KMR rail and real Aimpoint Micro) Only thing internal I plan to do is R-Hop it. Everything else preforms good stock. (Shoots around 380 FPS, most games in the US are 400 FPS so its perfect power wise.)

 

The cool thing was this games rules. It was Semi Auto only but SAW type weapons could fire Auto. Sounds odd for outdoor, I know, but it was great.

First impressions on the stock TM M&P feel/looks. (Without Nova slide) Feels much more solid and less toy like than the VFC. The VFC feels like they used super cheap plastic on the frame. TM frame is a bit shiney but not something that matters to me. Comparing slides the VFC is actually slightly thicker and wider. Magazines seat firmly. Trademarks look better on VFC though. (Again, not something that will make me dislike the gun)

 

Has the same issue the VFC has. Because airsoft slides are so light, sometimes when hitting the slide release my finger drags against the slide and it wont slam home fast. The M&P slide release is very low profile, so obviously not the companys fault. Though I prefer the method alot of real shooters recommend and "slingshot" the slide anyways.

 

I plan to run a grey Inforce APL light on it. I use that light on my real handguns and like it alot.

I used a Raven Concealment for my Cybergun and it did wear the finish a bit. I prefer Kydex over SERPAs, just worried it will wear is bad like some other guns I have had and used Kydex with. And if I went Kydex I would get a light mounted one. Raven also makes a Wolf Grey one to match my belt kit its going on.

 

But looking at my Cybergun the wear is in a place the SERPA would still cover. Just figured maybe SERPAs where not as tight as Kydex though.

Do any of you guys run Kydex holsters with metal slides? Or run a SERPA? How much did it wear?

 

(I have the Nova slide but may be same for others) Just curious how much wear it does. I was most likley going to use a SERPA just because it may wear the slides a bit less.

 

I don't mind a little wear, I know it will happen. But if I can avoid it as much as I can I will.

 

Also, I owned the Cybergun/VFC/Stark which looks cool but Meh performance. So have joined TM Master race.

That's a clever setup for sure.  I'll give them a go whenever I get my next holster.

 

Here's the most recent kydex I picked up.

 

 

Left is for an M&P with X300u and threaded barrel, right is G17 with APL.  Both light/no light compatible.

 How does the VFC M&P fit in the Kydex? My WE 1911's finish got eaten by the OTG holster, not sure how good the VFC finish holds up. I have a Raven Concealment for my real M&P (with APL) but needs to be broken in before I test the airsoft one in it.

 

Been using the Blade-Tech holster that came with my real M&P and the VFC fit perfectly and it has adjustable retention so only gets minor holster wear.

I have massive shoulders so I never noticed the wide straps.

 

Been awhile since I posted gear, I just like good pictures of my stuff. Haha. I am 100% happy with the D3CR and do not plan to buy any other chest rig again. It fits every need I have. (I'll be using it for real gun training to.) I like the worn/paint rubbed-off-a-bit look so why I did not paint over it.

I do not have access to my old E-mail(the one registered here) which is the reason I switched to Gmail.

[1911 Picture Thread]

Gun performed great at the recent game. (Shot through a window and got someone with it, clearing a building for people to enter) Its shot a bit better than my friends KWA 1911 Tactical. Yeah, It's WE based but I have had no issues so far. (I'm thinking they've improved from the older WEs. But I can understand hearing the horror stories of old WE 1911s).

 

The trigger is very light and crisp for an airsoft 1911. My favorite part is the grips, which work well and look great. (Replicas of the VZ Grips G10 grips.). Its not a TM with 500 bucks put into it, but like I said its good as a combat sidearm. (Also, it fits in 1911 SERPA holsters and Kydex holsters for railed 1911s, if anyone was wondering.)

SOCOM Gear Vickers 1911. (Yes, I know it is not 100% accurate to the game, but it dosent bother me. ). My guns are more combat sidearms, so I don't mind wear, in fact I think it makes them look better than a show piece. For some reason, SOCOM gear made the under rail smaller than normal, but luckily it still fits railed 1911 holsters. My Off the Grid Concepts holster is wearing it nicely to.

Mayflower UW Gen IV. Simple rig as always. Still need to add the ATS MCH Hydration pouch. I run a brown shirt or a brown Kameeze (Afghani long shirt) for both my kits, so Figured Multicam would look better ontop of those colors than Coyote Brown. (And the picture my Kameeze loadout is based off of, he has a Multicam chest rig)

 

 

Right radio pouch holds one or two extra magazines, first GP pouch has my dead rag, two handgun pouches have a 1911 mag in each, next GP pouch has my cell phone, left Radio pouch has a Midland CB radio.

VFC 416. Inspired by various Special Forces style paint jobs and Medal Of Honor: Warfighter. I did the paint coat a bit light,so it would naturally get that worn paintjob look without looking artificially worn. I was NOT going for the full digital look so that's why the pattern is spaced. Decided not to paint the grip seeing my hand would be there and it would only rub off quick. Its my first paintjob.
