I must agree. I'm interested in the DTW issue. Why close the thread? Healthy debate is just that...

So far at my local site 2 people have recently got a DTW. One hasn't worked at all but the guy has to fiddle with things from new. Other guy hasn't touched his and worked well so far after 2 or 3k rounds through it.

My 416 arrived about 3 weeks ago now. It's really just so very well put together. Very happy with it. All old mags working well as well as pmags.

I do consider that very thing? Don't know of many that go as primary - well there are some as I frequent a cqb site most of the time.

Well so far, all I have done is fit the slide - Initally just to see I swopped them over, all was well. I have now stripped and swopped all the marui internals to the 3PX-4, all went in very easily indeed I had expected at least some minor issues but all went well. Not used it to game with yet as not off to one for a few weeks now but had a go in the garden and seems pretty much as accurate and similar range as it did with the TM slide on. Did strip the mag though and re do the seals, seems to be feeding fine and whilst not as 100% as the Marui mags, it is pretty much there.

Just purchased the HK3PX-4 Just for the slide really and a spare mag.
Fit is pretty good from the off, no worries with the mag at all. All in all quality of the metal slide is very good. Quite pleased by it.

I see what you chaps mean with the kick back / slide action. My XDM arrived this afternoon. I have not experienced any Airsoft pistol with such a positive action, even an up graded one.
The initial thoughts of the pistol, very positive indeed. I thought my PX-4 was impressive, XDM more so.

It does, have mine now and it's all Eagle 6'd with prommy at purchase. It's soooo handy having nine 30/82 mags for it already. Have noticed that it seems to out range my Sopmod? that's all E6 also? Thought the Sopmod was pretty damned up there range wise, Scar-L seems noticably longer, with a flatter trajectory. No idea why?

Well, fingers crossed I might have a Scar L in FDE by the end of the week. Rather looking forward to it.

Bankz - Sounds like mine, I had seemingly bent the hop up platform after gentle re-shaping it's back to normal now.

Well worth the wait. They are just so 'sorted' after my clearly inept work on mine will re fit a tbb soon.

A big thank you to all who gave their time and advice. Managed to look at another it seems the platform had bent down, probably when I took all apart to replace barrel and rubber. After gently re shaping it, fingers crossed its now back to its fantastic old self.

Not very much really. When checking with no hop rubber the platform rises. With it assembled no matter which hop rubber the platform seems to rise but make no impression on the hop. Bb's roll out of the barrel when re assembled.

I thought that could have been the reason and spent an age with it. All seems well and as it should be?

Nine ball barrel and rubber. Blaster or blaster devil .25s
Now it's got the original bits back, even tried a spare VSR hop rubber, still the same result.

Here's a thing. Recently installed a tbb and new hop rubber, everything went back together seemingly fine. Afterwards the fps had almost halved, first bb fired but gave the impression it was under protest, the rest would nonchalantly trundle or roll out of the barrel.
Stripped it down again, hop platform not putting any hop on at all but seems to be functioning correctly. Re fitted original parts again, still doing the same? What have I done to it?
Fitted new barrel / hop rubber to a G-17 and all as it should be? Any ideas ?

I have the LBT 1961a in AOR 2, nice review and thanks v much.
Wasn't struck on the idea to begin with as I like my WAS RICAS, just wanted something a bit lighter. Somebody I knew had this one new and let me try it out. Not worn the WAS since, lots of room for M4 mags, 7 in all plus 2 x pistol mags, all else as above really. Great quality at a price.
I think reading this review led me to looking at the 1961.
As for the above comment, not really - well impressed, the more I use it the better it seems to feel after minor adjustments. Build quality wise, not a sign or wear but then they are the 'real thing'

Still more than happy with my PX-4, had it a while now and it just gets better. I am however very tempted by the XDM, any negatives shown up yet? A bit concerned by the idea that with age it might blow the slide off?

Thanks to this thread I have taken the plunge and gone for a WAS RICAS, not the Raptor. Did feel the need to add the following for their customer service though. Rang them up this morning to ask if I could collect due to leaving things to the last minute as usual, game on monday, bank holidays and all that, and weekend. They were very nice but that was a no as they are mail order only... Fair play, my fault they do next day delivery in the UK as standard on postage, the website mentions contact them re saturday delivery. Being a chancer gave it a go, due to holiday period and all that they could not do it, again my fault for last minute cunning ideas.
Placed the order anyway, due to this reveiw and a couple of others. About 10 minutes later they rang me to see if I was the chap wanting it for tomorrow... I said yes and mumbled about understanding holidays and all that, they then said " To help you with this, we will use a different delivery service for you and it will be with you before 1pm tomorrow, sorry it's a late delivery time, we usually do 11, is that ok?"
They would not even take anymore postage costs to cover it...
Had to add this onto the thread, their customer service is fantastic, I already trust the item is going to be perfect for me, but the whole delivery thing? Very impressed by them indeed.

Well, thanks for this thread then, when I first saw the PX4 I wasn't really up for it being a G17 / P226 kind of a guy, after reading this I have the sad and empty feeling that my bank account will be taking a hit in the near future. Unless it's not too late to ask Santa for one that is.
Could this be the start of a next generation from TM? has their already great quality gone even higher up the tree?

I have just had my M4 fitted with one of these gizmos. Fitting was about an hour, the ROF is certainly improved and as shown much crisper and responsive. By re-wiring the whole thing, all is now within the handguard and very neat it is too, no more messing about with the stock, which now is fully usable, due to the upgrade it now runs on 11.1 and it just sings. I don't do spray and pray so I just have single and triple shot, the trigger response is a joy.
Certainly for me, it is possibly the best upgrade I could have had done to it, it has made a good gun (G&P) even better.
I can do a full day on one battery, only caution makes me use another the following day, however I have a sneaking feeling it could well last for pretty much two days of fun.

I have used FS once so far, certainly would / will do so again. Pretty helpful, well very helpful had a nice chat with them. Postage was if anything not great, however once its posted it is out of their hands. Yup, pretty good place to use all in all.
