  1. Hisss!! Boo!!  Whats wrong with the Cougar Shao?!

Haha, don't get me wrong. The Cougar was great compact gun, and I came very close to buying one myself.

I was just saying that the unique feature of a Beretta is the open slide design that no other pistols have, but the Cougar didn't inherit that design and went back to the more common "closed" slide design that every other pistol uses (well except the Lugar and its rip offs). See what I mean?

  2. Not necessarily. Sometimes a thread is so blatantly violating one of the forum rules, mods don't bother to contact the poster about it. I haven't seen the post in question, so can't comment on this specifc case, but if one of your post/thread is missing, do NOT post the same thing again. It could either be your post is moved to a more appropriate place, or deleted. And stop making threads asking where a post/thread go.

If your post was about joint-order, you might want to check the sale forum rules. Maybe it was too comercial in nature.

  3. great sledge unfortunatly i dont and wont use paypal.

Even if anyone uses Paypal, I'd advise to hold off with the paypal at the moment because it's probaby Arnie's paypal account, and Arnie's away at the moment, so whatever donation you make via that account is less likely to contribute right away. At this moment, try to contact this person, http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/inde...p?showuser=2041 who owns and directly working on the server as we speak. I'm sure he'd be happy to take a check if not paypal.

  4. Yeah, even green with .2s gives about 240 fps last time I chrono'd my Chief's. Not a long range gun, but it's sooooooo cute. :D For a combat gun, get the M500.

    :zorro:

Hehe, for a combat gun? I wouldn't choose any of the revolvers.

The power of the chief special on green is like an average GBB on 134a. The M500, on the other hand, has been reported to be very accurate and powerful, but I have never shot one of those.

  5. like i said i dont have a mag to hand atm or id test it

i know someone with a 226 though so ill get them to try it

ill repot back when i get an answer

EDIT: field stripped it and had a play with the internal hammer, it doesnt work if you dont cock it without the slide  ;)

I think the 226 doesn't have this problem because the firing pin doesn't intrude as much as that on the USP. Just tested them both, and confirmed that the P226 will fire, but the USP will not in this case.

  6. a bloke said theres no way around this but im fairly sure if i put the mag in my P226, cocked the hammer and pulled the trigger it would fire with an empty chamber

Did you lower the hammer by using the decocking lever? If so, of course it would fire. Try the following steps:

    1. take out the mag.

    2. pull trigger to dry fire once.

    3. insert the mag.

    4. pull the hammer back without moving the slide.

    5. pull trigger.

    What happens now?

Of course there's a way around this: never dry fire your gun when the mag is out.

  7. There has been an increasing number of duplicate threads and/or posts lately. I know a lot of them were not made intentionally, but made due to server's instability. I am sorry for the current state our server is in, and I have no idea what is going on, but I sincerely urge everyone to bear with it, and if when you post a new post or thread, the page seems to be frozen, please do not re-click the post button again, and in fact, do not even try to refresh the page after you have click the post button once.

The best course of action is to go do something else and come back in a few minutes to see if the server responsed. And go back to the forum index and re-enter the thread or section you wanted to post in, and check if your post had gone through even though it seemed to have been frozen. If you have waited for at least 10 minutes, AND you have checked that your first post did not appear, then you may re-post again. Also when you try to start a new thread, if the body of the message fails to go through the server, but an empty thread was created, try to edit that thread instead of re-post another one.

Impatiently re-clicking the post button will only make an already busy server even more busier, and it does not help our current situation.

    Thank you for your patience.
