On the inside, just in front of where the shell goes. Not sure that this is such a good idea. I've tried different weight bbs in mine, all the way up to .43g, and above .28 it seems like the spring associated with this part isn't strong enough to move all that extra mass. This could be a good investment if it came with its own, stronger spring. But this is one of the least in-danger-of-breaking parts in the whole system.

Shotgun update. Ran it on HPA for a two day game, it's amazing. I scared a kid so bad with the sound that he called hit before the bbs actually hit him.

On the metal nozzle: I managed to order one from CRW airsoft. Took about 2 weeks to get to me. The fit is REALLY tight, especially noticeable on the rail and control surfaces. All edges were pretty sharp too, filed them down a bit before installing. Fixed all feed issues.

They must be out of stock, or I'm looking in the wrong place. No such record of that product exists anywhere I can find.

Finally broke my nozzle completely. Anyone have a source for spare parts yet?

if you have the ability, go for it, take pictures and post them here. i think the problem is very common for this model.

Kinda. I run it on HPA at the same pressure as green gas. I can get around 350 FPS with 0.25s. I was also under the assumption that, like my regional forum, I would be able to edit any of mine own posts for any length of time. Sadly, this is not the case.

A lot of advice and stuff has been offered on the m870 thread seen here http://arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/210618-tokyo-marui-m870-tactical-gas-tri-shot-shotgun-picture-text-and-video-review/?hl=%20marui%20%20m870 However, since the thing is now 30 pages long, I felt it necessary to create a thread specifically to collect all technical advice related to the gun. For starters, my three videos related to the gun. Disassemble https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3zD8GL9VBs Reassemble https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xNsdjilxly0 Trouble Spots https://www.youtu

Bought a cheap side saddle for this. Pins lined up nicely, and were even the same size, so they're to real specs. The polymer side saddles that pinch work OK, but are still very tight. Any metal side saddle is a no go. You should probably just wait for the angry gun one to come out.

Reassembly Video. I'll re-film it this week with a better light, but hopefully this helps anyone who needs it in the interim.

I'd appreciate a hammer set that isn't potmetal. Here's hoping RaTech is on the job.

Where'd you get it. I've taken mine completely apart, and the nozzle is indeed cracked. I have not received a response from the store I bought it from.

No dice. All that is still solid. Anything further forward in the firing mech I should take a look at.

Hello everyone. Read through the whole thread here, and a couple other places. I am having an issue with mine that I have yet to find an answer to. When a charged gas reservoir is installed, it will slowly leak gas out of the barrel. I have checked the oring and the compression from the rear of the gun (where the gas enters the body) and it is rock solid. Any advice on where to look next? Thanks
