  1. Recently just got the UAC nozzle flute and cnc hop unit, can say the airseal is much much better! Buuuut the downside is the dial that adjusts the hop up is extremely loose so you must put some shims before you screw the dial on :) Otherwise seems good. I think the only thing I havent upgraded is the Guarder frame.

  2. Curious as to your experience with how smoothly the nozzle travels back and forth inside the BBU.  Just got mine and had to do a little filing on the inside of those raised lugs that seem to connect upper and lower "rails" of the BBU, just to get the nozzle to fit into it.

It's a drop in fit. Didn't have to file anything to get the nozzle working smoothly.

  3. So I quit airsoft, but I'm picking up another one today for a good price. Considering how bad the CDN rate is (1 USD:1.35) I couldn't resist.

So that means I'm not quitting? Oh gawd.

Send me your plastic slide's so I can last forever! :D

Excelllleeennntttt. That means I will really have to go get mags fir my AK :C

  4. What do people do to improve the sluggishness of metal slide cycling? Recoil springs improve returning the slide forward, but what about the initial blow back? Saph also sells trigger springs and hammer spring sets. And other companies sell high flow valves for mags. Thoughts?

I installed the SAPH trigger springs and the fast response trigger spring as well. I kept the fast response trigger spring in, but took out the 150% hammer spring set. Didnt cycle properly on my end, could only shoot once and would have to re-rack.

Otherwise to get it smooth, your best bet is to polish the rails in the frame, that should improve it :)

  5. Yep, I agree with uscmCorps as you need a 150% spring for the Detonator slide. I too put in a SAPH spring in and it seems to be doing fine, I still need to game it and see how it goes. Otherwise, all is good...just gotta fix my leaking mags :c

  6. Hey,

What was the outcome of the slide not moving forward all the way?

I have two stock ones, and they both basically started doing it at the same time.

    Thanks

Wish I could tell you. I just took it apart reinstalled it, seems to be fine (havent gamed it though, just racking it).

Nineball piston head came, defo needs a bigger o-ring. Need to find the right size -.-

  7. No that's always the case unfortunately..

Annoyingly the G17 recoil spring I have en route is actually coming from Fire-Support so I could've just ordered the proper M&P9 one instead. I think I will email them and ask to return the G17 one and have it replaced with the M&P9 one at the same time as ordering a new barrel.

But not sure if its 150% though :c

    From this company

I bought the SA recoil, fast trigger spring and hammer spring. Will see how the are :)

  8. They have a recoil spring for the M&P too? That slipped through my net! Though I have a G17 one on the way so it'll do for now. I see Fire-Support sell them.. I am due to put an order in with them soon, I'll add it on.

Yeaaa. Why cant one store have everything in stock :(

  9. To be honest I didnt think much to the seal between the stock piston head and the stock nozzle either. But the UAC nozzle combo was worse. To be honest even with the new piston head it's not a great seal. But now it means I can add my own o-ring to increase the seal.

That nineball dyna head wont work for the M&P as the M&P and more recent TM pistols have a larger bore cylinder (15mm).

This is the one I have bought. I can't find them anywhere else with a quick google but I bet they're out there somewhere!

    EDIT: Found them elsewhere

Ohh i see. Yea I see this is specifically for the newer models! Nine Ball also has a recoil spring for the M&P, not sure if its 150% though. Ehobby has a 150% spring for the M&P from a brand called SA, never heard of it though :l

  10. Yeah they run fantastic stock as you would expect really. But I just wanted to squeeze every ounce of performance out of it. The other one is more or less stock and it's running perfectly. I think I might go with a standard M&PL slide next one I build.

Sorry for the confusion the Nineball spring kit is for the M&P it's on eagle 6 at the moment. I've only got a G17 Recoil Spring en route (should arrive today all going well). I also forgot to mention I ordered the Nineball Dyna Piston head as there was absolutely no air seal from the original piston head and UAC nozzle. This one seems to have improved air seal and made the blowback snappier.

If my Detonator kit is anything to go by you'll be fine. It was a drop in fit. I've heard the same with other Detonator kits too. I think I'll be going with a M&PL slide on my next build so interested to hear your thoughts.

Ahhh, I too noticed there is little to no airseal with the stock piston head and UAC nozzle! Is the piston head specific for the M&P or will this do?

  11. Yea, when the gun runs its awesome. Just need to give it a slight push on the slide when it stops lol.

Yea, I think it's the slide, decided to pop in old hammer, UAC nozzle and uac bbu into the stock slide, didnt seem to get stuck at all! I will have to go out and purchase a g17 spring and see how it goes !!

Edit:// So..I slapped in the regular barrel from Detonator, and so far I havent had problems racking it and having the slide get stuck :l. Culprit maybe the threaded barrel D:

  12. If you have time you might want to take a side profile pic of your lower with the hammer down. Might be able to compare it with someone with a stock set up. It really looks like something is dragging. How does it shoot?

Shoots fine, sometimes get stuck as it moves backwards!

  13. Kk here is a video with the problem Im having. No mag inside, and it got stock :( Have to give it a slight push so it returns back. Detonator slide + UAC BBU + UAC nozzle :c Fairing better than stock bbu and nozzle now. As you can see the slide catch isnt engaging when it locks :c

    Halp me almighty M&P gods

  14. Cav

I also had one of them kinda let the BBU misalign in the slide so i have to remove and reinstall then i cycled with the stock recoil spring. I also use a glock upgraded recoil spring now in my m&ps and the cycle fine. Hope that helps and you get it sorted out.

Which Glock spring? A regular 150% one will do? Ill tinker with it some time. Im too distressed atm lol

  15. Did you fully tighten the allen screw that holds the faux extractor? I noticed my guns performance is alittle wonky if the extractor cant move freely. I usually go a turn off of full tight. I had this on all of my detonator m&p9 slides

Yep, I thought it was that too! But it isnt ><
