mk23 metal slide help

I just bought a shooters design phase III metal slide for my ksc socom mk23.

My installation looks good but the problem is that it do not slide back very well.

If somebody have informations to help me it'll be great.

Sounds like you just need to take off the slide, and make sure the slide rails on the frame, and the slide are sanded smooth.

I think the problem is coming from internals parts like inner or outer barrel.

Or perhaps the recoil spring is not stronger enough

Check if the slide works freely without any internals attached. Then also try without the inner barrel.

 

I've two Zeke slides and both needed adjustments, one of them touched slightly the top of the mag. This was spotted cycling the gun manually without any mag inserted.

 

Problems with the spring set are also easy to check. Try to cycle manually, without the return springs and check if it cycle freely. You only need to change the return spring sets if the slide doesn't come forward when firing.
