Dist
im guessing its a alternate one designed for the hop housing, the tanaka screw is pointed, the BGS one is rounded, this is because the tanak one normaly goes against metal, where as with the BGS hop ip, the tip of the screw will be pressing against the hop rubber itself, im guessing the BGS screw is a flat head so it doesnt cut into the rubber and possibly tear it. the BGS screw doesnt fit for me, it only goes in about 1mm then gets stuck, so i use the default tanaka screw, and even though its a pointed tip it doesnt seem to have done any damage to my hop rubber so far, at least not anything thats caused problems. Philip Aram
maybe if you sanded down the tip a little it wouldnt harm the BGS hop
