My main question is how can you make them able to fire faster than 220 feet per second? Can you just use green gas or do you need to do some internal upgrades first? Longhairedhippy Posted October 1, 2004 Report Share Posted October 1, 2004 Pretty much the only way is to modify the M870 to use external CO2. Look over at classicairsoft.net for infor on that. the reason the m1100 is not as good as the m870 is because if you tune the m1100 too high, you cna have some problems with the extractor actually ripping the brass off the shells. also, the m870 being pump action, its internals are much better suited.
