shmook
basically, i cant upload anything anymore. i can post fine, but if i try to attach anything, it says my attachment space is full (3.95mb of 3.95mb used), and yet in the 'manage current attachments' box, there is nothing shown. i have uploaded pics in the past fine, but the last few just slowly filled up my attachment space until it got full. it didnt 'empty' when i posted, and then posted again later on with pics attached... i pm'ed marlowe about this a bit ago, but he could not shed any light on the subject either. its not a huge problem, as i dont need to upload gigabytes of pics, but i may be selling some gear soon, and would like to get it sorted for this. im guessing i could be the problem here, as i'm not too computer-savvy, so if anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated! thanks, shmook Edited September 29, 2008 by shmook
dannyboy
Screen grab of your attachments in the control panel? And I know it doesn't really fix the problem, but you could just use photobucket/similar to host pics for now.

dannyboy
Fair does. Imageshack might be an option then, don't have to set anything up, just upload and link. And yush, print screen.
shmook
didnt know that about imageshack... i'll give it a whirl now, cheers!
dannyboy
No worries Just thought as well, print screen would be problematic given you can't attach pictures
shmook
me too, was going to do it through imageshack... err, but how do i save the screen grab as an image (told you i wasnt computer savvy...)
dannyboy
Print screen > open paint > right click + paste (or ctrl + v, yay shortcuts) > save file

dannyboy
Ahh, the manage current attachments bit is just for the thread you're in (I think, only ever attached one thing). Go here and you should be able to remove old attachments to make space. Lemme know if that works. Oh, and [img=http://img253.imageshack.us/img253/694/controlpagegs4.png] [img=http://img525.imageshack.us/img525/2549/replypagebk4.png] will embed the pictures.
