I was just wondering if any of you that are serving could tell me exactly what is the latest issue kit? Is there anything newer than the S2000 jacket? I know the newer ones have chest pockets, but some come with buttons and some without. As far as trousers go a mate of mine has just aquired a pair of new ones from his serving bro-in-law that appear to be made of a heavier weight fabric that older types. They've also got elasticated bottoms. Are these the new issue? I've had all kinds of mismatched combinations before and this time I fancy getting brand new examples of the latest kit.
