tmiller Posted July 15, 2010 Report Share Posted July 15, 2010 Gonna try and make this review short and sweet. The pantac drop leg utility pouch is one of the most useful pouches you can buy. Pantac makes this pouch using cordura nylon and YKK zippers They're available in Khaki, coyote brown, OD and probably multicam (not 100% on that though) It is surrounded on all sides by pals webbing and features two zippers on top. On the back there are two molle straps, for attaching to a vest or a belt and of course straps to use it as a subload. The leg strap is very adjustable. Along with a loop for a belt there's two loops to hang it from molle webbing on a Plate carrier. Fully loaded the subload can hold quite a bit of stuff. If used as a dump pouch it can hold 7 AK47 magazines and 9 m4 magazines. The stitching is very consistent and there weren't any dangling threads when I received it. Its not perfect but a step or two above condor. I would rate this a 4.5/5 in quality, 5/5 for utility and a 4.5/5 for price. More pics below Quote Link to post Share on other sites

If you have a moment, would you mind opening up the Velcro thigh strap and as large as possible and measuring the max leg diameter that it would fit? Would be a huge help. Thanks. It can fit a thigh up to 24 inches or 60.96 cm around, and at its shortest 14 inches / 35.6 cm around could you post a pic of it with the opening wide open? I'd like to see the inside. thx!
