Wingmann Posted August 10, 2011 Report Share Posted August 10, 2011 1.- Push the main pins out. 2.- Pull from the end cap, taking out the stock assembly. 3.- The charging handle will pull out the bolt assembly. 4.- Basic disassembly. 5.- Free the bolt from the charging handle. 6.- Take it out with the recoil spring and guide. 7.- Bolt assembly plus recoil spring and guide. 8.- Take the guide and spring out- 9.- Undo the screw holding the nozzle springs retainer. 10.- Pull the retainer out and free the springs. 11.- The springs will go inside. Put the retaining pin aside. 12.- Undo the four screws that retain the front metal part blocking the nozzle. 13.- Two on each side.Be sure to use an appropiate screwdriver, these are soft. 14.- Take out the blocking metal part. 15.- You can pry it out using the small cut visible inside the hole. 16.- Part out. 17.- Now the nozzle is free and you can safely take it out of the bolt. 18.- Pull the valve retaining pin out. Pic shows the left side, but you should do it from the right. 19.- Default valve and nozzle. Pin will self retain. Do not force it out. 20.- DangerWerx valve vs. standard valve. 21.- Place the DW valve inside the spring in the nozzle. 22.- While pushing the valve in, relocate the retaining pin so it holds the valve down. 23.- Perfect. 24.- Re-insert the nozzle inside the bolt. Be careful to place the springs over the nozzle so they don't get caught on anything. 25.- There are cuts on each side so you can manipulate them. 26.- I made this little hook out of a guitar spring to pull the springs out. It's possible to push them from the cuts too. 27.- Fishing time. Pull the springs out. 28.- Keep it there and pick the retaining pin. 29.- Place the pin and release the spring. 30.- Repeat with the other one. 31.- Nice and tidy. Screw the locking screw back on. 32.- Insert the recoil spring and guide. 33.- The back of the guide goes in there. 34.- Place the charging handle on the bolt. 35.- Insert the whole stock and bolt assembly and voila!
