I am looking to install a qd sling to one of my aegs however there are no existing qd sockets or RIS panels anywhere for me stick it into. I will need to create my own qd socket drilling a hole in the body. Does any one know of any aftermarket qd sockets you can buy? I found this picture on google but it does not link to a website. It looks like it would work with the socket screwing in either side of the proposed body. Link to post Share on other sites

QQexDERA Posted February 5, 2013 Report Share Posted February 5, 2013 It's as flush as you're going to get. The flange goes on the inside of the receiver/handguard/whatever. Design wise, the IWC is just far better than the Noveske. As to shipping, Brownells will happily ship to the UK. Indeed, i've used them a hell of a lot (just make damn sure you ask about Airmail, not standard shipping!). Pop them an email asking about restock. Link to post Share on other sites
