Dodger1911
I have an m4 "franken gun" that is having problems retaining it's magazines. I was using a classic army m4 magazine catch and my mags (magpul pts and kwa 120) will fall out of the magwell if the gun is jostled in the slightest. I tried a g&g magazine catch and had the same issue. it seems as though the mag catch isn't full inserting into the retaining tab on the magazines. Is it possible to us a gbb magazine catch? I figure that they probably have more surface area since they are used to hold a much heavier magazine? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks so much.
Leon Kennedy
I can confirm at least that G&P mag catches fixed my issues in my King Arms.
Tommygunn
When I had an excessive wobble problem I used some plastic from a ice cream tub lid glued to the mag catch side of the mag well so as to push the mag closer to the catch and take up the slack. richwuk
I've used sugru in one of my M4's to reduce mag wobble!
Leon Kennedy
Electrical tape on each side is always a good non-permanent option.

Dodger1911
Thanks everyone for your responses. I think I'll try the g&p mag release. if not, I like the idea of the velcro tape. Really appreciate the feedback! Dodger
