Osprey MK3 and similar, sizes?

Hello,

 

I am thinking of treating myself soon with a new vest/plate carrier as I am not completely happy with my current load bearing vest, though it does the job.

 

I am looking at the Osprey MK3 as I am trying to go for a somewhat authentic look (to go with my DPM and DDPM and L85) however there is a problm. For medical reasons partly I am rather thin, in fact my current vest is as tight as I can make it and it is not quite tight enough, so I am unsure if any of these plate carriers will fit well enough.

 

Does anyone have any experience using these on a small build? How much can you actually adjust it? Are there any other options? I am assuming the MK4 is gonna have similar problems?
