Sky Crusader
Need help! I've been out of the game for a couple of years. I've just started reading up and talking Airsoft again and everyone is going on about Rhop. Now I'm running a tanio koba twist in my m16 with a firefly rubber and h nub bucking. Now this has always treated me well but I'm wanting to know if that was a thing of the past ? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Katotaka
IMO "hop-twist" barrel is quite decent if the conditions are right, just not an "in" thing at the moment, if it works for you, keep it.
Sky Crusader
Are there good results with the maple leaf monster hop bucking and nub ? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Lone_Bullet
I use the same combination as you, Crusader, with the exception of the H nub. Used in my T97, the hard plastic H nub made my hop adjustments very finicky. Switched back to the supplied FireFly soft nub made the difference. Works very well, range and accuracy wise, but I noticed that the sharp 'rifling' of the barrel sometimes tears of fibres of my pieces of barrel cleaning cloth. Not optimal and hard to get out. Other than that, I'm fairly happy with them. Next try will be Orga / flathop. If I ever get the space/range again.
