17 years since arniegeddon 2004

hullo all (waves)

been a while since i posted on here. thought i'd just throw up a quick "happy anniversary".. thing... for one of the first major airsofting weekend events i ever went to (which didn't include a "jolly old romp" in the woods with a couple of pals and a few kangnam springers.) ;) 

yes...

it's been 17 years today since the first arniegeddon event back in 2004! held at spectre wargames and presented by none other than R22Master and Sledge. a weekend of madcap games, crazy people and a strange urge to blow up carrots... (don't look at me! nothing to do with me that!)

a great weekend where games were played, like "rescue the monkey", "musical springers" and "what has Dafool got down his pants?"

well....

okay maybe not that last one... ^_^ 

as i've effectively been retired from airsofting for almost a decade now, i tend to reminisce a lot these days and look back with fondness and laughter at the old airsofting days, when my body didn't crack as much as a bunch of glow-sticks being fired from a TM M16 AEG :/ 

so i'm going to take my leave now and vanish back into the mists while everyone wonders -

"who the hell was that?"

"what's a 'dafool'?"

and "what's that strange hair growth down below?"

happy 17th anniversary Arniegeddon - gone, but never forgotten ;)
