In general there are 3 types of silencers: A) For just plinking (no particular function) For hiding a longer inner barrel C) For manipulating the sound I have the latter type of silencer ©, i.e. the ICS QD (long version) which doesn't really silence the gun, but the internal foam indeed dampens the sound and lowers the pitch recognizably. The QD (Quick Detach) System of this Silencer requires replacing of the standard CA M15A4 flash hider with the one from Marui. CA has a very similar looking Silencer (also with QD System), which should fit right onto any CA M15A4 without any modifications, but I don't know if they also included foam or other material inside the silencer for some sound manipulation purposes. There's one flaw about the aforementioned ICS QD Silencer: It's quite heavy compared to others. On the other hand it's very solid built, good quality, has a nice matt black finish and the price is ok. Link to post Share on other sites
