Jimisin73
Wow this is really comming along... excellent work. I would definatley port the handgrips though... lack of ports kinda draws my attention away from how good the rest of the design is... it's like my eye is drawn to what's missing... Shroomalistic
thanks for the advise bud, I think I will do that when I start up on it again. The front lower is too wide and the thumb hole needs to be raised so I will just make a bigger hole. I wish I had a belt sander for this thing. Its a lot of freakin work. This wood is a lot harder then the previous lower grip so it made carving it almost impossible.
Shroomalistic
what do you guys think I should do about the pistol grip? Right now its still the stock marui one just glazed with a clear acrylic to give it more of a wood varnnished look. Should I paint it black again like the previous pic, leave it how it is now, or find something different? Combat depot sells guarder grips but there for an ak74 receiver wich means I would have to mod the receiver to fit it. Or theres tascabe's custom grips for 55 bucks plus shipping. He has brown ones and orange ones that have the checkered design on the sides.
