Zero_DgZ
So. I just got a UTG MP5. My plan (what is mine) is to, among other things, take the retractable stock off of it and stick it on my ICS. Which I did. But during my toil, the little wire do-dah that is the rear sling loop fell out of the block that attaches to the rear of the gun. So I stuck it back in, but with it in place I can't get the assembly back on all the way. So I tried taking it out and flipping it around every different way I can think of, and no matter what the result is the same - With sling mount, no go. Without sling mount, goes on easily. So I says to myself, I says, "Self, we're sticking a stock from one make of gun onto another; Let's try it on the UTG and figure out which way it goes from there." Nuh-uh. Can't get it back onto the UTG with the sling loop inserted, either. So, anyone who has this gun: How the heck does this thing go back in there? Is there some sort of trick, or am I just boned? DanHS
If it doesn't sit just right as you slide it on it will get stuck there, just keep trying. Here, should look like this inside...
Zero_DgZ
Bingo! That was sort of counterintuitive. I kept trying to get the ends of the sling loop to go into the little channels, and that obviously wasn't working... +1 for you. Thanks.
