rasheem Posted June 1, 2006 Report Share Posted June 1, 2006 Hello all, I'm investing in an MK46 conversion for my Star MKII and I need some help with some parts. From the looks of it I'll need a lower RIS, upper RIS, long rail on the feed cover, and a shortened outer barrel. I read StaticZero's post in the Star M249 thread about the lower RIS but I'm not sure on the upper RIS. Are there any upper RIS's that fit or will some modification be required? As for the feed cover, iirc none of the metal feed covers for the CA or TOP will fit so I think I will move the sight back on mine and install a rail like this one, although it's been out of stock for months...does anyone know where else I can get one or if there are any similar ones available? http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?i...249TR_srch_m249 As for the shortened outer barrel, I've thought about just getting the Guarder PARA flash hider since I know that will already fit, but I was just wondering if there are any other options out there.
