Jonny Posted August 17, 2006 Report Share Posted August 17, 2006 On my recently aquired CA G36E I wanted to mount a silencer on it for looks. I assumed sure, proably 14mm neg thread.... after minutes of struggling and several differenet tools including my usually fail safe rubber strap wrench I gave up. It then occured to me... is this a one piece casting? Or is this flash hider torqued on so hard that it is preventing me from removing it... that or maybe its 14mm+ threading lol. There isnt a set screw either in case you were wondering. But either which way doesnt work, so if anybody out there with a CA36E could tell me what the deal is, do let me know.
