FS: Rare NVA/DDR Blumentarn jacket

FW200

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Selling a rare so called "Blumentarn" pattern jacket from 1965.

From:

http://www.kamouflage.net/camouflage/en_00056.php

Known to some as Blumentarn ('flower camouflage') and dubbed Kartoffelmuster ('potato pattern') by soldiers of the Nationale Volksarmee ('National People's Army'; abbrev. NVA), at least one East German publication refers to this camouflage as Flächentarnmuster ('faceted camouflage pattern'). It is a four-colour design, comprising irregularly leaf shaped blotches of black, medium green and red-brown on a light grey background, which was introduced by the NVA around 1958, as a replacement for the Second World War Russian camouflage pattern.

These are rare these days, seeing as they have stopped producing these since 1967. The remaining bdu's were either destroyed or dyed black.

Size is around 48.

I'm asking 65e shipped inside Europe for this jacket, or trading against Russian or Soviet gear.

Please ask for prices for overseas shipment :).
