Custom Combats

Does anyone know if there's a company who makes custom clothing, ie like one that you could send a camo pattern to and get them to produce a set of conbats for you?

I don't know of anywhere specific, but I'd have thought a tailoring company would be able to help out. For a price. Either that or a family member with a sewing machine. If you don't mind doing the work yourself you can buy patterns from big department stores and smaller specialist shops. The small specialist shops may be able to direct you to someone who can help too.

Hehe, i was thinking about making a custom camo pattern though...and getting a full set of bdu's made in it, just to be different

Nice Idea, If you've got a old set that you're willing to sacrifice you can probably use that to make a pattern up from. I guess the hard part will be getting your custom pattern printed up.

 

While I think of it, "The Costume Company" (sorry, haven't looked for details) did the kit for the Children of Men film that AA were selling off. I doubt they do one-offs at any sensible prices if they have film business to look after, but a nice letter to them might get some helpful hints back...

I cant find anywhere that does it...and if i did it would probably be a ridiculous price.. also i was looking at the children of men ebsite to see if it would help me find anywhere and i was wondering why in the year 2027 are the soldiers carry L85a2's, g36's and the police have XM8's...surely they could have come up with something better by then..and xm8's arn't even being produced anymore ffs.. they need to do better research
