Kingmob3 Posted February 21, 2007 Report Share Posted February 21, 2007 I am looking at cleaning up two G3's that I have, they've been around the block once or 4 times. The gearboxes are in good shape (both running over forum limit w/ stock barrel) however the hop up seems to creep, especially after long periods of storage, and play. I attribute this to the age of the unit. Is there any one who makes a replacement G3 hop up aside from TM? I would preferably be looking for a metal unit and a good air nozzle to match. Veek Posted February 23, 2007 Report Share Posted February 23, 2007 Hi the only one I know is Classic Army like THIS one for example. CA uses them in their SAR Offizier, of which I have one, but I can tell you in advance that I'm not to happy about that hop-unit as well. Firing my SAR and turning the hop on makes almost no difference (came that way when I bought it). I haven't tried fitting an other one yet. Grtz Link to post Share on other sites
