So, err, blog. Forgot about this - my devART and Red vs Blue journals are bad enough
From my last update, everything's changed, so let's just say I'm looking forward to a good blast at Op: Vortex this coming weekend. Should be "bostin'" as they say down that way.
Well that was fun.
The ALICE kit below arrived, I set it up, I hated it, I sold it.
I also sold my Hi-Capa.
Now on the way is tom fahey's WA Kimber MARSOC, with 4 mags total and a Gemtech TRL lanyard. Quite a sweet deal for £140 all told!
In the future, I plan a full-metal Prime slide and frame set, and a Surefire Classic light.
Got a bunch of new gear in the last couple of days. In total...
Blackhawk Industries H-Harness Suspenders
Blackhawk Industries Padded Patrol Belt
Blackhawk Industries Aussie Kit Pouch (for Nalgene bottle)
3no. ALICE Mag Pouches
Propper US Woodland Boonie Hat
It's all going together to form a current woodland SEAL impression. Not much more needed now, either - I might end up getting a buttpack of some sort, and I need to get the belt and suspenders set up perfectly (that'll only come from use, I suspect), as the full Nalgene bottle pulls the back down a lot (a buttpack will only make this worse, of course).
The attached gallery will give you an idea of what it all looks like (with a black patrol cap which needs re-rolling, and my Kifaru Marauder 3-day pack), but like I say, it's not finished yet.
It also all gives me a chance to wear cam cream for a change. Woo.
My Lordships, I shall be absent until approximately 5 hours into the afternoon of the day of the Sun himself, that which is also the thirtieth set of twenty four of your finest hours in the last batch, batch being the group that occurs exactly twelve times per item, item being a group of either three hundred and sixty-five or three hundred and sixty-six of these 'days'.
Finished PJ impression, too - check out La Gallerie
Thanks to Arn for giving me the opportunity to post some possibly-vaguely-interesting rambles in this fine blog o' mine
Those of you expecting emo poems will be sadly let down, as I won't post any.
Oh go on then, just this once...
And to stop you from passing out because of that, I've attached some small versions of some of the best photos from my recent holiday to the US (well, in August...).
Bigger ones can be found in my DevArt gallery HERE
Oh yeah, for the record I don't actually have a Weesatch
