Welcome, one and all, to the adventures of Ghost and Hardcore. For the purposes of this blog, anything written in Italics is Hardcore, anything plain text is me.

Lets see, what I've been up to.....

1) Went skirmishing on Sunday. Took Hardcore's brother (Caboose on the forum) for his second skirmish and team evalutation, and also wanted to test out the woodland potential of my FWP rig.

(Authors note - FWP stands for Festooned With Pistols. The rig carries 5, 6 if you class the mp5k as a pistol.)

Despite the damp and muddy weather, a good time was had by all, and Caboose passed his evaluation.

Hi-points of the day:

Me getting shot, Caboose crawling on his hands and knees to medic me, and Hardcore firing over his head to take out the guy about to slot him.

Running around for most of the assault game with just the pistols and taking so many heads it was untrue.

Gettting my first knife kill.

Testing out my tripwire mine by booby trapping the briefcase objective. The blue thinks he's home free, gets five meters, and BOOM! Game over.

Running around with dual berrettas and getting into the thick of things for once.

Getting medic'd by CanadianChick without two of the blue team realising, and Pwning them.

Blues: WTF? You're dead!

Me: Not anymore! *giggles*

Hmm....what else of note? Geardoism is catching. Thanks to Havoc and his Tears of the Sun loadout thread I have now spent £50 on kit I don't need. Am tempted to ask to join SNAFU just for the amusement factor, but eveyone and his dog knows I'm not a geardo at heart.

Looks like things in the reg room have calmed down after the spat that occured the other night.

Going down to London in two weeks for a week of skirmishing fun with Situpking, H&Kchick and the rest of the fellows. What was supposed to be a relaxed weekend has now turned into a full blown 10 day holiday week with two skirmishes and a weekender. Getting the time off work has been a bugger, but meh, it's worth it.

I only get the weekend. Stupid Uni. Stupid lectures. Me all on my lonesome.
