Yesterday i played at first and only airsoft adventures. Best - day - ever!

The site is truly fantastic with dense woodland, large hills and a complex vietnam style bunker complex. But what i found most amazing was the marshalls. The site owner - "Gucci" - is the stuff of legends, with the funniest safety brief i have ever heard. The lads there seemed like players first and marshalls seconds, something thats allways a plus. Ecspecially after playing paintball where the marshalls viewed it only as a job and had no real enthusiasm.

I noticed some of the players that day were regular soldiers and so hung tight to them as they seemeed to know the score. And what fun that was Fire control orders, target ID orders, assigning sectors, falling back on objectives and constantly being informed of what was going on. A real eye opener to me, and a great laugh at the same time.

Today has been my R&R day, getting my replicas cleaned, kit checked and planning my next mov....purchase. My sig "needs" metalling for my liking and yesterday proved that i really do need a scope of sorts. Apart from that, i feel like a project. HK53 maybe, or a replica moscart firing 51mm mortar... mmmm...
