  1. Are things any better for you guys at the moment? The forum should only be slow at the moment when I'm trying to repair the database or cache the search index.
  2. Just putting the final tweaks to it now. It might slow things down while I create the forum search index table
  3. Looks like we've out grown our current software configuration. This will require me setting up a new search facility. It's not a huge task. I'm setting to it now.
  4. Any one else with the same problems? We're trying to figure out if this is user specific or may be affecting others.
  5. There's a default notification setting for topics and if you are set to follow more than one topic or forum you'll get one or more digests coming through. As the guys said, check your followed content and notification settings. It should show you in there what you're set to get emails and notices for.
  6. Just seen that on my Blackberry browser, I'll ping it in as a suggestion.
  7. Back at my PC and confirm that it's as I laid out above. I'm not saying your posts are trash, however if we believe that a member is posting simply to gain sales access will will take actions to preserve the status quo in here. the point of the post limits is so that only members that have been around for a (undefined) period are allowed to trade. This protects all users from potential poor trading relationships. Hope that makes sense.
  8. I am posting while mobile so can't double check, however there's a reason for that happening and you should have had a message about it. There's only two people that can do that to you, and it was me that did it, I am pretty sure. If I am correct (from memory) you were noticed making lots of posts to jack up your post count, then instantly going into the sales area once your membership was upgraded. As a result your posts were reduced to 10ish and sales access was removed temporarily. Like I said I am mobile so can't double check too easily from here however I think I'm right.
  9. Okay all notifications should be coming through now. If anyone else has issues, please post here
  10. Testing:Its a drinking game Seems to work for me. I typed it exactly as you quoted and it appeared as above. Using Firefox 6 here. I typed it into the wysiwyg editor, not the code editor *you can toggle modes using the top left button in the edit screen).

Voodoo1 Take my love, take my land, Take me where I cannot stand... On the moon of New Qinghai a small colony is clinging to its frontier existence. Originally claimed by Chinese explorers, they abandoned it after finding little of value. Years later a small settlement of farmers landed on the moon and set up the small township of Bad Apple. Unfortunately the Unification war resulted in many of the young men and women joining the fight and the war made the towns future fragile. Then a few months ago prospectors came looking for mineral wealth and struck gold. The tow
  12. I know I just meant that I'm sending loads of tickets to Invision daily and doing lots of code stuff in the background, I just didn't want to flood the thread with dullness Apologies in relation to digests I mean that forum digests will only inform you of new threads. Topic digests should give you a daily breakdown in the usual fashion. For notifications that have worked for me I get a notification, for ones that haven't come through I've not had a notice either. I'll add your personal report to the trouble ticket now.
  13. I do add stuff here that's relevant. They've been bugfixing since the 3.2 release constantly, and when there's a patch or update I've rolled it online. What forums are you subscribed to? Can you make sure you toggle "notification" as well as "email" for your digests. That way when they do go out you'll get a notice in the notification list as well. Bear in mind that the digest will only notify you of new topics, not replies.
  14. The daily digests is an ongoing issue, I got mine through this morning that I was meant to. Invision have told me they think they've finally got it sorted. I'm also getting notifications etc through in the top link where I've set them to appear. The digests were not going out, backing up and causing topic/reply notifications not to get processed as well. Did you get any digests in the past 24hrs? ED-SKar: I see what you mean. There's a fix for the editor coming as there was a few problems with inline/center tags as well. I'll check if that's also a reported issue. Can you give me a spe
  15. I got one (and the notification I'm toggled to receive for it). Are you sure there's new topics in the forums you're set to receive a digest for?
  16. It works okay for me in FF6 on Win7, it could be an AJAX issue in your browser. What you using?
  17. Ok apparently the techs have found the problem. Notifications emails are getting backed up and not going out. The real test to see if this is working will be tonight to see if all the digests go out at midnight GMT.
  18. Okay my first daily topic digest came through just now for the "general discussion" section. intinerious did yours come through? What forum have you subscribed to?
  19. In the meantime I've setup default notifications for all new members and set everyone to get daily updates to what they'd subscribed to if they didn't have an option toggled. We had a bunch of accounts with nothing set post upgrade. Now I need to figure out how to apply a default notification list to all members if no notifications are set (so that everyone gets forum/topic/pm emails). I could write the SQL to do it now if I knew where IPS had stored the darn data!
  20. You can move the user bar - click the buttons top right of a topic. Re the disordered categories, see my post above
  21. Okay the new version of the old skin is online and selectable by users at the bottom left of the forums. There will no doubt be bugs, especially in IE, feel free to report them and I'll work on them. I can see one already with categories being posted out of order on the index page
