    the gearbox shell was $300 Alone, parts were close 400, and a bunch of custom parts and misc ###### done to it, brought it close, if not more than 1000

     

    but it was worth it

    a few pics back a guy had a magpul m93b stock on his airsoft gun.  i intentially purchased the stock to do this but haven't found a way. if you know how, please le me know.

     

    Buy the G&P real steel stock adaptor first next...

     

    1. Cutt the threads off the Stock tube

    2. put the stock adaptor on the metal body

    3. Drill and Tap 2 holes for Grub screws(Hex) under the stock tube into the stock adaptor

    4. Take off the stock tube, and Adaptor

    5. JBweld the stock tube onto the adaptor, quickly put the two screws into the stock tube and throught the adpator, to keep it in the right place as it sets

    6. Wait for the JB to dry, (overnight)

     

    7. Take the stock off the stock tube, Open the back of the stock tube up

    8. Now that the adapter is solid in the stock tube, put the screw that goes into the back of the gearbox in place, which also will attach the stock to the gun

    9. Put the back of the tube on

    10. replace the stock

    Thanks, i hate that PEQ also

     

    Im thinking of a redimag system but i dont want to cover the trades with that hideous thing, but also dont want to use a Battery bag on my magpul stock

     

    im out of options but its not that bad in person

    not really, i like to use it beacuse when i play, everyone around me asks if i can see people down range, but they might be to far to hit, but i can see them

     

     

    So i would say, once in a while i get a problem with my range, but other than that in the feild that i play no its great

    easy, Just needed to Dremel/ file the 4 tabs on the RAS, they go around the side of the metal body, but airsoft is wider so you need to take the tabs smaller

     

    then i just put the top ras on, bolted the bottom cover over the G&P barrel nut, and Slid the bottom ras on..

     

    easy took about 15 min

    Nah, a MilSpec product is a product that meets MilitarySpecifications regarding construction, durability has been tested by the Military.

     

    The gearbox can be constructed with MilSpec material or with MilSpec technology, but it is not MilSpec.

    Accually it is Milspec

     

    It was Machined by Mark Haynes of S-Lite out of a block of military aircraft aluminum

     

    it was tested by S-lite for durriblility... In the usa, a military light company

     

    It can take the biggest spring,in a freezer, overnight on a car battery

     

    without cracking

    vicious: after finishing the gun yesterday, i have made the executive decision to use a ready-mag insted

     

    As soon as i aquire some cash i will be getting one and having the wiring redone

     

    Good think i dont feel alone that that peq looks like a shoe box on my gun
