  1. Sorry to hear you'll have wait for your new box mag eldelphi. On your question for the battery to boxmag connection I have gone with the converter option you mentioned and the everything works great so don't worry about any issues there. Goose5x5
  2. Hi all, Just to add on the bipod issue, with mine I have no problems at all, deployed or folded away the bipod seems to work very well. Also on the Sling points, the front is plastic and very thick, the rear sling point on the MKII is metal. Again no issues with this, I'm using a new British Mini-mi sling and its works very well. I'll be out again next week so I'll take my camera this time and get one of my team mates to get some action shots. Goose5x5
  3. I like the 100rnd cartridge pouch, might have to buy a couple if there a good price and then I can go back to mag changes Goose5x5
  4. Hi Challenger, No, the inner barrel is solid and on the MKII the outer barrel is metal. The whole weapon is very solid and as per Staticzeros review. Goose5x5
  5. Hi Static, Just wanted to say excellent review and agree on every aspect and point you've made so far on the Star M249. Thought I would share my experience of my M249 MKII which I used in several games yesterday and hopefully answer a few questions on how this weapon works in the Field. Well I've gone through around 4000 rounds so far and had no feed problems at all with the Box mag or operation of the MKII at all. (The only problem I did have was that as there is no winding of the box I kept on forgetting how low the ammo is in the box mag and as I was having so much fun
