Just to clarify, tyguy94924, you've done this (mounting with a real FNX plate onto a Cybergun FNX) yourself or have seen someone do it? Maybe my memory is a bit hazy, but I seem to recall a user on here saying the holes are different and that the ridge gets in the way. . .

Ah yes that lovely conversation I had on Facebook regarding the FNX-45. At least they were honest but by diety they dodge lots of genuine questions that asked why they went the route they did (after originally saying it would be able to co-witness). It's a real shame, missed opportunity but who knows they 'may' have been told to alter it from the real steel/deal. I say 'may/might' have been told.

You know, this is me being picky, maybe if they concentrated more on the function of the pistol (as in the mounting plate and being able to stick an RMR on there, whilst still being able to co-witness) than the trades, they'd have made a damn fine pistol. Serial number being unique is handy (helps to identify the pistol to the user), but that's a small thing, were as the mounting point, on the frame, is a big deal for a lot of people.

I really need to stop coming into this thread. Straight after leaving I start looking at WE AK prices, it's all about that full bolt travel. Just looks so good and I keep seeing Nic Cage in Lord of War (in my head if course), playing about with a 47. Pure sex.

The odd thing is, it's the same even when there are no BB's in the pmag.

 

Edit:- forgot to mention. I tried the upper without the bolt in it and the pmag still won't sit properly. I'll try to slap the bottom tomorrow, see if that works.

First of all I'm sorry if this has been address before. I have WE pmags (gbb) and they don't want to work with my M4. But here's the thing. If I seperate the upper and lower, then insert the pmag (it fits fine), close the two halves and then pull back the bolt, release the bolt (which chambers a round fine and is able to fire), it is able to fire. But if I try to insert the pmag normally, the mag catch can't engage the pmag.

 

My question is this:- Is there a mod I can perform to allow me to use the pmags or is it not worth it (would the modification mean that normal mags would no longer work, post modification)?
