Would like to find a way to stop the lateral movement of the trigger on these pistols. Other than the no backstraps issue, no reasonably priced replacement slide issue and no replacement sights issue, I've no complaints.

Never understood why this pistol didnt become as popular as some others. Mine are all running great (especially with CO2 magazines). I've kept the hop-up set for .25's and have had no issues.
I was especially surprised when there were so many problems reported with the FNX-45, but they were still being picked up like crazy. For some reason, the P09 just didnt take off to the same fanfare.
I still think the P09 is one of the best double/single action pistols out there. Range and accuracy are quite good and the build materials seem to be first rate for a pistol in this price range. I even like it better than my TM P226, KJW P229 and KJW CZ75's.
Would like to see a urban gray frame with brushed satin silver slide and barrel. Some replacement backstraps would be nice as well.
I know this isnt the best solution for the hop-up part issue you are having, but what if you got one of the "all polymer" versions and used it for a parts gun? The frame, magazine and barrel group are the same as the standard version and you could use it later if needed. The price here for the "all polymer" version is quite a bit less ($80-85.00 US).

Coonan would be cool as well. So many classics just waiting to be made into airsoft. Scoremaster and a really good Bren Ten would be on my list as well.

Recently saw prices in the $1,600.00 to $3,000.00 range (sighs).

It was the overall size and the round was impressive as well. They were well built as well.

The more I see, the more I really want a GBB of the Grizzly. It could compete with Desert Eagle. I'd buy two (lol).

It's still cool! Never saw one before (as any kind of airsoft rendition). A GBB version would be pretty nice. It was quite the hand cannon.

3 down from the top on the right row..what one is that? Almost looks like the Grizzley. The wider grips and trigger guard are suggesting this to me.

Not a big fan of the M9. Carried one for several years, but always thought it was too big for a 9mm. Will admit it shot super, but I was able to carry my Hi-Power and even my S&W 639 easier.
However, after seeing these pictures of the new TM M9, I might just get one.

Adam from Myth Busters has his own show now and did an episode of weapons from The Expanse. They are all Airsoft. The bullet splatters and sparks (where the bullets hit walls and the like) are done with standard full-auto paintball guns that use a metalic powder to create the sparks. Some of it is on youtube. Kind of cool actually. He is heavily into the sci-fi weapons of movies and tv and has quite the personal collection.

I've tried and have had no luck. I also would like to use the TM/KJW format as I've such a ready supply of parts and magazines and I shoot these things a lot (thankfully I have a large back yard that is backed by heavily wooded, non-buildable lot which makes this possible), so I need something that can take the pounding.

Loving the Commander. I mean I love them all, but that Commander is what I've been waiting years for. I'm super envious as I've not been able to find a kit anywhere and is in the top 5 of my favorite pistols.

Guarder will come up with frames and slides it they're on their game.
I'd like to see a RMR long slide.

I had the same issue with the right side slide release. Was able t get a replacement for the leaver and now it woks perfectly.
Now of course, l have to put one of these on my list. Can't wait to see the video.

I might put this on the list but I'm still put off by the right side slide release. I'm sure it's made well but it's just looks like it was just an afterthought.

I wish someone would use this same process to make lightweight compensators for pistols and rifles. On many pistols, just that little bit of aluminium or steel weight on the end of the barrel can really screw-up functional reliability.
By the way, your strike head came out looking great.
