And I thought this was airsoft, we replicate real forces................ If spetsnaz use tac laser, why shouldn't someone going for a spetsnaz look?
but the stuff that "Spetsnaz" would use arnt attached to the guns with RIZRAZ!! their usually attached to the barrel!

so i took my AK74 to the skirmish today, and it got a bit dirty, it now looks like something you could find in Chechnya.
so what do you think? All mud was applied through natural usage of the weapon.

it kinda looks like one of those guns you used to get at fairs where it was basically an M16 with an AK mag. Now paint it woodland camo!

if they were to release spare shells for it at a reasonable price, i wouldnt mind buying loads of shells and just using it as a battle rifle. now i just hope they do a nagant!

Thanks, never thought of that. I take the launcher off frequently though, so I'm not sure I want to cut up a hand guard. Though I should get a new top one since it's broken...
if you got a replacement set, then you could cut your current lower guard and then use the new lower guard when you dont want to use the launcher.

if you have the lower hand guard, you could split it, and use two pieces of it to get rid of the gap between launcher and upper handguard

Star Rainbow Company, their the people who make that gun, therefore it is their take on it, its simple enough to mod the receiver if the guy wanted to but its hassle, not everything has to be 100% all the time

thats not a AKMS, for it to be a AKM it needs a AKM reciver, that is a 47 reciver
key word you missed was SRC, its what it says on the box so therefore it's an SRC AKMS, even if it isnt true to what an AKMS looks like, but that can be fixed easily by modding the body...

So heres my CA M15a4 carbine with my new ELCAN and a thermold mag, its not going to stay like that as the scopes for my M/95 but it was the first flat top armalite i could grap..... call it a C8a1/M-96 wannabe

i would lose the M145, Elcans are kool but it doesnt look right on an AK, most non russian scopes dont look right on AK's...

Im not saying all are, but most people on this forum who are AK fans, also like Russian gear, and most people like Russian gear because it has a "look"!! That look is either the cold war style or the more modern versions, but whicherver it is, Its mostly very basic. Yes Russian Soldiers now are begining to get MOLLE equipment, like the UMTBS or NERPA kit. buteven still rails and stuff are not used, if you look, accessories are mounted by specific brackets or bolted to the barrel. If you look through this thread, theres been quite a few decent tatical guns, like the PMC RPK, but stock CYMA ak takticools arnt kool.
by comeing into the tread and shouting you mouth off, your not taking into account 1) the type of people, its like the armalite thread, theres people who have put thousands into their guns to get them just right like how delta force/ froce recon whatever use. 2) that some of the Tactical Ak's have had a good reception e.g. PMC RPK, its mostly just the CYMA's and stuff like ICS's horrible releases (which are just naff) which get shouted down.
